Deleted31005User
Today I noticed that someone had linked two videos on my mod page which were viewable by the users through the "videos" tab options. Now these videos have nothing to do with my mod, nor did I put them there, but the fact that they were visible to the users without even needing my approval first is kind of disturbing. The only thing I could do was "deny approval" to those videos, which stopped them from being viewed by the users but somehow those linked videos still remain in that "videos" tab options if I'm editing the mod page as admin, there is no way for me to permanently delete them from being linked to my mod page. Mod page: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/59558/?Linked videos are called "From the Ashes B1C2 Part 1" and "From the Ashes B1C2 Part 2" and I would like to have them removed from being linked to my own mod page permanently.Screenshot of how it looks while I'm editing the videos section as admin:http://static-2.nexusmods.com/15/images/110/31005-1426027675.jpg Again, I have no authority to permanently remove these linked videos from my own page, the only thing I can do is deny approval but they still somehow remain in there, which is annoying. Can someone please delete them from being linked to my own mod page. edit:Also, why can people just link videos like this without the consent of the authors, users could view these videos on my own mod page unless I denied approval, meaning if I were not online on the Nexus for a couple of months that video would basically be showcased on my own mod page for all those months without my consent...There should at least be an option where linked videos need approval first before they actually show up on the mod page, just like that option where uploaded pictures from users need approval from the author as well. Dark0ne
Option "Allow users to link their videos to this file" is set to "Yes, no verification necessary" in your file attributes.
Deleted31005User
Okay totally missed that one, but how about being able to remove it completely from the "Linked Videos" sections when your editing the videos as admin? (see screenshot I added in previous post, all I can do is deny it, but not remove it out from there.)Honestly these 2 videos have nothing to do with my mod at all, I looked at them and its just some random play through the guy is doing that doesn't even touch upon my mod and I just want them out of my videos section. I don't mind the guy uploading videos and its great I can deny it to the public on my own mod page, but I really don't want to see those 2 videos every time I edit my own videos section as admin...Perhaps instead of "allow" and "deny" you could add another option "permanently deny and remove from list" or something? Just like with comments you can delete them and they won't be visible to the users or the admin at this point (though moderators can still see them), would be great if I could do the same for certain linked videos. Deleted31005User
So after 9 months nothing has changed about this, I want people to be able to link videos if they are properly constructed, but I do not want some random guy linking a video that has nothing to do with my mod.And I as an author have no way to permanently remove that video from showing up in my own video section list.Sure I can deny it so the public doesn't see it, but sadly that's where the options end. Right now there are only two options, "approve" and "deny approval", so can we PLEASE have another option such as "permanently deny and remove from list". Let people link videos all they like, but why are you forcing authors to not be able to clean their own video list?Simple button -> video gone from list, that's all I'm asking for.
