A cool idea for a new game

I get alot of ideas for games, some great some like poo but i think that a game like oblivion, but in the 20:th century would rock! Some of the plans:

A big city life with "workstations" - You can have a work like a delivery boy and drive like a car or a scooter, or a deskjob and the way to work could be kinda like when you are in jail in oblivion.. And other works wich would fit the city.

Alot better Vampyrism - Like 2 - 4 clans wich take in vampires.

New monsters like the Werewolf ( or also called Lycan) - wich would have a war with the vampires (i know sounds like underworld doesnt it?)

None of the Lycans or the Vampires can be damaged by normal bullets.

Vampire/Lycan hunters - Kills Lycans and Vampires with Silver bullets, swords, knives, crossbows or whaever pleases the hunter to kill with. (Garlics :P)

Cars - Insted of horses (of course :P)

Normal and "Cooler" cloths - With "Cooler" i mean like long, black leather jackets (like matrix) wich looks sweet on vampires. And clothes like that. Normal are just simply normal :P

Asassins - Not hard to understand what they do huh?

Houses - Could be from small apartments to big mansions.

Do you get the picture?

So what do you think about this idea? Just want to hear some comments.

Btw - If you want to come with ideas I can add them.

Vampire is a great game. I'm playing it now. It has a few minor technical problems (so does oblivion) and somewhat unremarkable combat (so does oblivion) but it's really great in the choices you get, and it has more stats to mess around with than oblivion.

I'm not saying it's better than Oblivion, but it is a very good game IMHO

WarKirby.

Yeah but it hasnt got all the possibilities that oblivion does.. i want to mix vampires oblivion and gta.. i think it would be a fun game..

Yeh, but I don't think you're going to find someone who wants to spend a year making a total conversion from a sword n' sorcery to a modern urban environment, since that would require basically all new meshes and there aren't that many of us who can even do plain old armor. Besides the fact that a lot of us play Oblivion because it's NOT set in a modern environment. This is why we refer to it as a fantasy game.

Somebody help me, I'm turning into Vagrant0 already...

God no. If you want to do this, go get a real job. I, like anyone else over 18, have more than enough work already. Games are a break from the work, not a way to do the same things I already do, but without that whole paycheck thing.

It sucks, it's over-ambitious, it's questionable whether it would even be possible with Oblivion's engine. It's a textbook example of the "cool ideas" problem, where you just list all these amazing wonderful ideas while typing one-handed, and completely ignore the problem of actually getting them in-game. So I predict your new idea will never make it out of the most basic dreaming stages.
