Highwayman300
After a recent CK update, I am unable to launch the tool at all. I have re-installed the tool itself, steam and all the games/mods multiple times, and I am still unable to launch it. Whenever I try to launch the CK, it will do absolutely nothing. When trying to launch it from the exe. file itself, this error comes up: CreationKit.exe - Entry Point Not FoundThe procedure entry point SteamUGC could not be located in the dynamic link library C\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Skyrim\CreationKit.exe Due to the lack of knowledge and repeated failure on trying to find a solution for this issue, i have given up in Steam (Who is clearly the root of the problem) and I am now trying to find a "Standalone" CreationKit. Any help with this would be appreciated, I been unable to mod for about 4 days because of this issue.
sLoPpYdOtBiGhOlE
There is no legitimate Non Steam / Standalone CK.Never will be and never has been. Verify your CK / Skyrim install via steam would be the first option most will say.

Verify your CK / Skyrim install via steam would be the first option most will say. Already done,no use. Verifying integrity of the tool cache and steam's files was the first thing I did. saurusmaximus
I hate to sound like I'm passing the buck, but this sounds like an issue for the Steam forums.
Borghal
I'm having the same problem and I must say I'm fed up with this "exclusive" "proprietary" "DRM" s*** Why can't it just be a program like in the old days where it would just run from wherever if you had all the file it needs. My Skyrim is in C:\Skyrim, for ease of access, MO is right next to it in C:\MO. How that exactly happened, I don't remember, but Steam does not recognize it as being installed on my computer, yet when I launchthe game the steam overlay is there and I am logged into my account. When I want to install the CK, Steam only gives me two godforsaken steam libraries as options. Run it from one of those and it moans about not having steam dll. Copy it over to Skyrim and it moans about not having some Steam entry point procedure. None of which I want or need, I want to install the app wherever I want, idiotic Steam! And of course you can't make a whole hard drive (C:\ in this example) your Steam library, because that would just be TOO FUKIN CONVENIENT, to have a whole disk dedicated to games, wouldn't it, Steam?
