The vampire eyes of Beautiful People

Some time ago, I downloaded the Beautiful People mod: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5175 One of the modifications created by the mod was that vampire eyes were changed to inverse colors. At the time, I did not want to be a vampire, so I didn't care one way or the other. However, when I wanted to be a vampire, the eyes' color scheme didn't look so good, so I downloaded another vampire eye mod: http://www.thenexusforums.com/index.php?/topic/260503-rv-vampire-eyes-texture-endorsements/ to overwrite it. It did nothing. Pemamendez suggested that it was perhaps Beautiful People uses "an alter-directory for their textures". And that because the new vampire eye mod only replaces the original vanilla textures, it wouldn't affect anything. As such, I am asking people who know how Beautiful People works. Does Beautiful People use an alter-directory? If so, where is it, and how do I replace the Beautiful People vampire eyes with Rosario+Vampire eyes?

Do you still have your Beautiful People archive (7z, zip or whatever)? If so, open it up and check the textures folder inside. That will tell you what folders the textures will be in.

Also, that replacement that you linked to is for the vanilla eye type. If you overwrite Beautiful People's vampire eyes with that one you'll get googly eyes. You need one that fits the same mesh that Beautiful People uses.

Googly? Could you please post an example pic?

Several people ask about 'How to solve googly eyes', sometimes with screenshot. I can say, if you apply vanilla eye texture on EE meshes, you will see one eye points upward, another points other direction.

**I once told you that you need to convert the eye texture to fit for Elaborate Eyes meshes. I even linked to EE modder's resource, EE convertion template, and quick conversion tool.

It's an extremely common problem that people introduce into their games by not being aware that their cosmetic or race mods introduce new eye meshes to replace the default ones. Mismatches of a texture to the wrong mesh causes googly eyes.

Just do a google search for "oblivion googly eyes" and you'll see how common the problem is.

(This is not my picture by the way. Found it in an image search using the above search term.)

(This example is how it will be looked like if you apply EE texture on vanilla eye meshes. And I have seen Ren's eye texture on EE meshes as well...)

*sigh* I am aware of this, but it's just an illustration to get the point across. Depending on which texture is incorrectly applied to which eye mesh, the problem will look different.

It really is not necessary or appropriate for you to correct me, LFact. I simply wasn't willing to bork my game just to get an "accurate" picture.
