drazur
You can grab some more Wild Wasteland Madness from my mod at http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=38300#fileanchor I have only done from Goodsprings to Nipton in this FINISHED version. Consider it a 'Stand-alone Demo' Another *different* version will cover the whole game (i.e. you won't be 'spoiling' the final version, because the final version won't feature the same encounters as this one). If you guys could check it out and let me know what you think, I'll give you playtesting credit and an ingame reference in the final version. :) Edited December 3, 2010 by drazur
Park77
You can tell when you have a Wild Wasteland encounter because a Vault-Boy icon with hypnotized eyes will show in the corner of your screen, and you'll get eerie UFO music. Doesn't seem worth the trait, unless you weren't planning on taking 2 traits anyways. At any rate, there are mods now that let you take Wild Wasteland as a third trait. Considering it doesn't really alter gameplay much, I wouldn't consider it a cheat or anything
zerrodefex
Yeah, I consider it to be a waste of a trait. I only took it on my first playthrough and never again on subsequent ones. It should have been a gameplay option like Hardcore Mode, not something that fills a trait slot.
WarKirby3333
perk does very little see fallout vault for complete information but it does make it possible to get the Alien Blaster, instead of an improved Gauss Rifle Seconding this. The wild wasteland effects seem to be few and far between, and don't make much of an impact on the game, other than the Alien Blaster
minngarm
Blind deathclaws are standard. There are several locations with full packs of them, and they do not act blind in the least.

I, like you and many others I'm sure, found that out the hard way  Edited December 6, 2010 by WraithA7
