I think the ICBM could easily take 9x64 iron ingots (I forget how blocks I used), and I think a wool rocket might look bad. I guess it will be a challenge though.

Balloons may be a problem.

Do you have enough height to make them? :/

I saw a dirt tower that I'm assuming goes to max height.

Might not be enough space :/

Can I ask a question.. I tried minecraft (SP) and it didn't appeal much to me, i couldn't too any of the things you stated and I couldn't even craft things.

If i where to buy Minecraft, how much time would it take to get started? Is it grinding to get materials? And how much TIME of grinding?

What about the mobs? I am to understand that there is huge mobs around and I don't think a newbie could survive with but his fists?

Mobs are not a particularly big deal (especially on multiplayer). You will die some times, but your main loss will be materials and tools (some of which you can recover). Easier than many games you have likely played. Its more of a giant sandbox still.

If you have only tried the alpha-online demo (the free part), I would recommend you consider the "full" version. Admittedly it is a sandbox, but you as such you can really make it into anything you want. The time per dollar spent ratio of minecraft has been, for me, on par with TESIV and F3. Perhaps even better.

I have put more time in minecraft than I have for NV, F3 and Oblivion put together.

All for the price I bought it at to which was tiny!

I always suggest to people to try out the PC Gamer Demo of Minecraft before deciding on a purchase though.

If you like it, you won't regret buying it.

If you don't like it... Don't buy it.

Simples.
