Guest deleted649591
I think I just had an Eldergasm. I love the land and lore or the Nords. A year is a long time to wait though.
Deleted472477User
I'm surprised this hasn't gained over 9000 pages already! I think we can now all safely assume that when Bethesda says 'We have no plans to do something' it really means 'We're already working on it, we just don't feel like telling you yet' :P Also when they say 'We have a big exciting announcement that fans will be excited to hear coming up at X event!' it will NOT be an Elder Scrolls game. Anyway, I was delighted to hear this. I am just hoping they learned how to better model faces and bodies, write storylines, and dialog. Also, I am hoping they don't go for big name movie stars but instead go for the industry famous voice actors who can really make a game come to life. In other words, fi they learn from even a few of their flubs, this game can be the best TES since Morrowind.

marharth
I am a bit worried, It looks a bit linear... Really too soon to tell, IMHO. I guess, it is just one video... It seems like being the son of a god will make it more for the storyline... Also the new engine is bugging me, it should be modable (if it not then their sales will be lower without question) but will the new engine be able to support the freeroam gameplay as well? What other races are there? Well, the Falmer (AKA Snow elves) might appear, they were from around there, but I don't think you will be able to play as one though. Don't expect them to look like the version some people mod into oblivion, they weren't supposed to be pretty. And I believe there a slight chance for some Dwemer to show up somewhere, at least in some sort of side-quest. Still, it more than unlikely. I don't know, I've always got the feeling that they are somewhere in the deep into some mountain cave, in some sort of self indulge cryogenics sleep or something. This is more of a strong desire rather than a real possibility :D.
burningwreckage00
Wow, always wanted to visit Skyrim. But I'm still would've liked for a game that lets you visit all the provinces, but that probably would've been too big and have taken much longer. Hope to have a new computer by the time this is released.

Antiscamp
The announcement of Elder Scrolls V is the best news in my book since the announcement of Civilization V last year. I'm such a lucky bloke. First Civ5 and now this. I've been playing this series since Daggerfall, and here we are again.
