chucksteel
I'm just putting this out there and it's something I have been thinking about for a long time. I am wondering if there is anyone out there who would be interested in writhing terminal logs, notes and other things for DCInt and NVInt. The writing is the hardest part of modding for me and I would like to make my interiors more immersive with little glimpses of personal life and the past. They can be sad, scary, funny (Funny is always good) so long as there lore friendly. Some may even lead to freeform or side quests I'm up for anything. I will do the GECK work unless an interested person wanted to do it themselves. Again the writing is the hardest part for me. I have ideas I just can't always get them on paper. If your a story teller or interested please feel free to reply here or PM me. Thanks in advance chuck
VATROU
You know I could kinda help with that. So long as there's no time requirement. I do a lot of RPing and am currently working with the Frontier team as an additional writer. So if you have ideas feel free to run them by me and I'll see what I can work out. chucksteel
there are absolutely no time constraints this is just something I have thought about for a long time which would make my mods more immersive. My mods are already well established and I just want this to be a fun addition. little love/hate stories, inter office email fights just stuff to get the player more into the situation and not every cell needs a story I'm not looking for a novel just for a good writer to have fun writing stuff. I do try and some times I pull it off but it's work for me, I try to tell my story with the visuals but a good writher would bring my work to the next level. Edit: I've been working with another modder on a mod called "The mad bombers Workshop" it has everything a good mod needs, Gnomes, Explosives and is really funny! it's been so much fun and inspirational to not work alone so I thought this was a good idea to ask for a writer. jcdenton2012
I'm actually game for this. Just tell me which game and how many notes for what location. You would be amazed how twisted my sense of humor is. :
VATROU
Sure. Just pass along any ideas you have, and if there's already a picture of the location that would certainly help with creating some immersive notes.

chucksteel
I really don't want this to be like a job for anyone and I have no timeline. It should be something you want to do and I also don't want to tell you what to write. I would have last say if it goes in or not but I want this to be fun for everyone who wants to get involved. If you need a jumping off point look at DCInt, I have set up Arkansas house with a little backstory using his Wiki info about the raiders that attracted the town. He captured one and enslaved her. I had always intended to write up how he eventually fell in love with her even though he keeps her locked up in the basement as his sex slave. Edit: I also think it would be good to get a few people interested so I'm not just looking for one writer just people that want to have fun making stories. It also goes without saying credits will be given to all who contribute. Edited April 25, 2015 by chucksteel
