lagennagen
So the normal reaction to visiting a non-US location is a justified "No Americana, no fallout." HOWEVER. Canada is a commonwealth of the post-war US, therefore making them one giant state of America. They would be flooded by a country trying to indoctrinate them into their culture and beliefs. Essentially what I am saying is, Canada is actually a very lore friendly location. So if you want to make some crazy new world space, consider Canada, cause its completely reasonable for the game series and its lore.
Rabbit1251
Personally I would love to see a Fallout London as a location. Or perhaps China to see it all from their prospective. I'll bet it wouldn't be much different from ours. Mutant pandas anyone? Rabbit
devinpatterson
So the normal reaction to visiting a non-US location is a justified "No Americana, no fallout." We had a similar discussion in re: to Russia quite a while back, with one contributor emphatically stating no one but the U.S. had survivors/was habitable. That seemed a strange statement to me since it would be primarily the U.S. and China that received the *most* devastation. To back it up he relied on a fallout 2 quote (I think from the intro). So I tweeted Chris Avellone directly and his reply to Russia and other locations was; "I believe there's never been official word, so it's an unanswered question." I think that's pretty straight forward, lots of post apocalyptic world to explore beyond the continental U.S. In fact one of the main story lines behind fallout extreme was to travel to china (specifically the forbidden city, which is also mentioned in FONV according to the wiki) and "kill the Chinese Emperor and deactivate the Doom's Day Missile". So long story short, I wouldn't worry about it being a hit to lore, all kinds of locations are open, and Canada is a great one.
Morgwynn
As a Canadian I whole heartedly agree Canada would be a great setting for Fallout . . .
Pancapples
I've actually been working on a mod centered around a faction from the area around Algonquin Provincial Park (between Ottawa and Toronto). I'm not very good at making worldspaces, so I probably wouldn't be sending you to Canada anytime soon, but it's certainly better than nothing. jcdenton2012
London, I can help with, but you'll need someone to sacrifice some time in Blender to get Parliament down to something slightly less horrific in size. I say Blender because this thing can't be loaded into Nifskope to face all normals. http://www.mediafire.com/download/eue6aw5pj0b0cwy/Westminster.zip
Teabone3
I'm from Canada and personally think it be really cool to bring players to the country in a post-apocloytic setting. I'm not bad at world level design and terrain building. I'm just not very experienced in the LOD system.
jcdenton2012
Honestly, I'm about 90% certain that Canada... aka Ronto will be a DLC for Fallout 4 given how it was so discretely mentioned in Fallout 3. So, you might be getting your wish.
