HellsMaster
yeah the X8 is superb.. i mean really accurate, amazing respond time, its wireless though. I am using an X5 Atm and i got 3 dpi setting: 2000, i use for gaming. 800 i use for designing and there is 400 i use for really really accurate work. HellsMaster
indeed :D as well.. you can regulate the weights.. so if you like a heavy mouse you put all the weight (good for designing) and if you want a light mouse you can remove them
CommanderCrazy
Id go for the X5 then, you can change weight and stuff. DPI and other too.. if you wanna do designing you can lower it for accuraryas well.. you can regulate the weights.. so if you like a heavy mouse you put all the weight (good for designing) and if you want a light mouse you can remove them Roccat does all this too. Also, you can change the X-Axis and Y-Axis sensitivity, there's horizontal scrolling, a button that is a DPI switch and the Volume control (There's a button that changes all the other buttons features)Weights up to 20g (More than enough) and Teflon feet (Doesn't make a noise)And it fits exactly into your price range. I'm just saying you'd be best off with it is all. Vindekarr
I'd still go for a G-9. The logitech G-9, though now years old, is the reliable old "Ak-47" of computer mice. I have one myself, it's a grand four years old, and the only thing wrong with it is the Logitech logo having worn off. It's got no doubleclick feature, but the cursor speed is adjustable on the mouse itself with a simple "gear" system. This means that you can either tone down the speed, ideal for lining up a really precise shot, or tone it up, to make something with a lot of inertia feel more responsive, EG if you're driving a tank or flying a helicoptre. It also comes with two diferent casings that click in and out, for people of diferent hand size, a "sweatproof" coating that really does work wonders for the sweaty of palm, and you can adjust the weight of the thing using a set of custom calibrated steel weights that click into the back. All in all it's hardly modern, or even very nice looking, but take it from me, a 6.8 beared goliath, it's very comfortable regardless of paw size, and unendingly reliable-I'm four times past where the warranty stops, and it doesnt so much as rattle. It runs great and it never gave me any issues. I use the arrows on the mouse for my teamspeak ptt button and its pretty comfortable.
