gep5
Ok basically my problem is that whenever I put an NPC in a pose, they turn to look at my character and therefore ruin the effect. The only full proof way of preventing this is to make my character invisible with chameleon or invisibility but that can't be used for obvious reasons. Oh I've already tried disabling head tracking the oblivion.ini but that only partially solved the problem. The NPCs heads would no longer turns towards me but their bodies still did. A mod that disables the invisibility shader on chameleon so that the camera can see your character but NPCs still can't would be a good solution for me. Thanks
Naktis
You could use TAI console command to turn off other npcs AI they shouldn't move then. Edited December 27, 2010 by Naktis
LHammonds
I place my character in 3rd-person view and type "tfc" at the console and I'm free to move my camera around anywhere I want to get the best position possible. You could set the NPC pose, walk away out of range and the fly-in your camera for your screenshots. Don't forget to press the tilde key just before you take the shot, it stops all action and hides all menu items as well. Depending on how many commands you typed, you might need to issue a "cls" to clear the screen. The ONLY thing visible will be a little white sliver of a cursor in the bottom-left corner which can be cropped out or stitched out of existence in an image editor. gep5
Thanks for the advice, another problem I'm having is positioning the player character correctly. I can do it find with NPCs using certain mods but collision and not sensetive enough controls mean that I can never get my PC in close enough to the NPC I'm using. Thanks :)
VictoriaG
Disable collision: tcl Also use the setpos command x, y and z Click on the character in question then... getpos z (or x,y) to get current position then use setpos z (or x,y) xxxx to move them.
