Yes. This is a thread about shoes. Talk about your favourite ones, or ones you wish you had.

 

I have a pair of steel-toed boots, which are awesome. You know, I hate having small feet because if I want nice shoes I have to order them off Ebay. :P I also love my great big Buffalo boots, which are for wearing in the usual torrential downpour. I've relaced them with acid-green laces, and they now look awesome. :) My boots are black, obviously--I might get purple or maybe dark brown ones, but that's as far as I will go with colourful shoes. :P

i have 3 pairs of footwear

1. my crap shoes, white tennis shoes i have had for 2 years, they are pieces of feces

2. nice shoes, these are just nice black running shoes

3. waterproof boots, for airsoft and hiking

 

if anyone here says they like crocs, i will be thoroughly dissapointed

Heh, no, but I've always worn DCs. I've got short, wide feet. They're comfy, even if I don't skate.

Generic brandless shoes from Wal-Mart. I need the ones with velcro in them because I can't figure out the art of tying shoes.

Cheap, plasticy pieces of carp.

 

I have steel toed, leather topped Dunlop Volleys.

They are indeed the perfect shoe. (For me at least)

They are comfortable, they work as sport shoes and I can pass at work with them :thumbsup:

Big patent leather punk boots, matched with a black leather trenchcoat.

 

They're ugly, brutal, and heavy as a pair of London Buses, but they last forever, I love the punk/metal aesthetic, and best of all, they're very comfortable.

 

That and, they're the distant second cousins of work boots, and retain a work boot's "wear all day 5 days a week" resilience and comfort.

 

This also has a certain comic value-you see, I live in the country.

 

The latrobe Valley. It's actualy a suburb of Melbourne, Australia's far southern residential metropolis, but the population is split about 50/50 between folks like me who want a quiet, safe, scenic neighbourhood with bargain basement house prices, and the hereditory wool farmers who's ranches populate the valley floor alongside three massive powerstations and a few very large towns.

 

But damn, thos farmers give me funny looks. You'd think they'd missed an entire generation of great music and the styles that went with it, because every time myself or one of my friends wears anything even slightly individual/crazy, the local farmers look at us like escaped convicts.

 

It's an extremely conservative area-dressing like a punk rocker and walking down the stipmalls is always good for a laugh.

In my case, I have 2 pairs of shoes:

-Steel tipped leather boots I stole from a construction site :P

-White fencing sneakers, I had them for 2 years, they are all f***ed up now, but I am going to order a new pair, I really recommend them, I took them everywhere, they are the only pair of white shoes I would wear in my entire life, you can do anything, they are awesome for parkour, fighting and running, I have to share an image of how f***ing sexy they look when out of the box

Solid black, actually. I also have a solid white version of them for marching band practice (Black shoes roast your feet).
