Trypal7
Ok, the game is patched up 1.2416, got BP mods, supreme magicka, cute elves, natural weather, water and vegetation installed, female eye candy, Akotosh mount, and male body replacer V4. Do any of those explain why some NPC's only have heads, hands and feet showing? Sackcloth shirt does'nt show up either.
SandsOfTime404
Well you probably should've checked them one by one as you installed them. That's the easiest way to figure it out. As I only have the natural weather, water, and vegetation mod out of that list I can tell you with almost complete certainty that it is not the culprit. The rest you're going to have to check manually or have someone else help with as I know nothing about them.
LFact
Make sure you installed body replacers properly. And do not forget to install clothing/armor replacers as well.
majikmonkee
every time I've had this issue, it's been the result of files not installing correctly. in my case, the culprit was Windows Vista, and having the game installed in a "protected" sub folder. It went through the motions of extracting the files, but didn't bother to tell me that it didn't actually write them to where I needed them. bben46
Oblivion was designed for WinXP - and works just fine on that platform with the game installed in the default location. However, Vista (and later Win7) added UAC to 'protect' all programs loaded into the 'program files' folder. Which is exactly where the game installer wants to put the game by default. For both Vista and Win7 your best solution is to install the game to a different folder. I recommend C:\Games\gamename. If you use Steam, install (or reinstall) the steam client to C:\Games\Steam - then all steam games will be outside the 'protection' of UAC which tries to block any changes (mods) to the programs in these folders. I do not recommend disabling UAC as that leaves a back door for some viruses.
Trypal7
Thanks you guys. I appreciate the help. Well I'm running XP home, service pack 3 etc etc. I uninstalled all of the mods and then one by one added them back starting the game after each one. So far, everything is working. :) I'm not sure how or which, but it was a mod not installed correctly.
