Dragon32
I've been browsing for Morrowind models and textures, I found some that I liked and tried to download them. Some downloaded fine, others failed. I reported these using the "Report a problem" link on the mod's page. All OK I thought, then... In my browsing I came across the PARALLAX CITIES PART 6 mod for Oblivion in the Morrowind Models And Textures section. This has (at time of posting) 2 reported bugs and 1 comment (the latter dated 15th October); the comment points out that the mod's in the wrong section, and I assume that's what the 2 bugs are too. I would have thought that something like this (as it was uploaded 14th June) would have been moved to its proper home by now. So, this got me thinking: Should I be reporting errors in downloading files using the "Report a problem feature" or should I be using these forums? If I should be using the forums should it be here in Oblivion > Oblivion Modifications > Bug Reports or over in Oblivion > Announcements, News, Rules and Feedback > Dead Links? BTW, I was encountering two types of error (i) "No filename supplied. There was an error with the download link. Please report this." and (ii) Re-directing me to a webpage: "This Account Has Been SuspendedPlease contact the billing/support department as soon as possible." Any advice gratefully received. :)
Chaps
I, too, would like to report a dead link. I'm trying to download the latest Nazgul armor mod for Oblivion, but I keep getting sent to a page whose address ends with '.upload' or some such. I've tried to report a bug and to leave a comment, but it's been a day and the link is still useless. I see I'm not the only person with that problem and that specific file... LHammonds
I noticed both of these mods being in the incorrect location as well. I tried sending a PM to tidus457 but it just says "No such member exists" which means that only a forum ADMIN can fix this problem. The other mod has nothing in the Author or Uploaded By section which must mean the uploader was also killed off the forum and again, only an ADMIN can fix the correct categorization. Since it's been at least 2 months since the first notification, I assume the admins have their hands full with more important fires or the task is more difficult than we think. Thanks, lhammonds
