AurianaValoria1
Speaking of dragons, anyone out there making their own dragon model to put into this game? Not yet. I don't think I want to reanimate the whole thing from scratch... but I do want to. And I want to basically specialise in animation and work with HB on this game. I'm very tempted to be going towards this direction after some easier project other than flying dragons. Probably something along the lines of bringing a Lore creature back from one of the games that never made it into Skyrim. Then get to dealing with the harder dragon @hammonds i think il make an undead dragon if he won't be in the game.do it. I'm thinking 2 headed or zombie dragon myself. Ooh...something like a hydra would be cool!
Ghogiel
Ooh...something like a hydra would be cool! :thumbsup:I suppose.. but it'll be a dragon. we need a griffon too.. With the built in support I expect fro both a mounting system and flying creatures, I think this area of modding hold epic potential. As soon as someone gets onto mounted combat... s*** just got real.
jancina25
I wonder are all dragons in skyrim gonna be the same type just diffrent colors and elements, or we'l get like from chinese mythology, more like serpent ones aka water dragons XD
Corakus
What I just noticed with the conversation system, it still zooms in when you talk to the NPCs, I thought they said they fixed that?
scot
Yes and they also said we could still walk while in conversation and if we walk away the conversation stops or something.Maybe that´s not finnished or they couldn´t make it work, like oblivion was suppose to have dynamic shadows but was cut out in the end. LHammonds
When a conversation starts, you are probably zeroed in so you are looking at the person you are talking to but can look and move around after it starts. I think the last video showed that to an extent. I do recall in an interview that the conversation will continue as you move away but at some certain distance, the conversation will stop. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ic6dKnv3WdU @ 4:57 Conversation starts @ 5:12 You see that the player starting to look around. Corakus
Yes I've seen the video several times but my point is that isn't "really" fixed considering that you can only move around when they talk and you're still forced to stare at them while picking dialogue options. It's one of those things that seems awesome when they announce it but when you actually see it for yourself you learn it's not as great as you first thought it was, I wonder if I'm the only one who feels this way. Also I'm still not quite clear as to how the magic works, there's supposedly to halves to each spell, one which is achieved by holding the button down and one which is achieved by tapping the button briefly. That part I understand, but if you look at the demo you can see him using the same fire spell to cast a flamethrower and also to charge up and cast a fireball.I don't see how that works, how can you charge up the fireball spell if holding the button down casts the flamethrower? TheReverendTholomewPlague
The point of the new conversation system is not to be able to talk to people with your back turned, but to see the world 'happen' around you as you converse. In this respect, they have done a good job

Auto-initiating all conversations at once would be insane as well as trying to figure out who you are replying to. But we'll see for ourselves once the game is released and we are able to control the character. It is not like they are showing us what buttons are touched and when in relation to the videos we are seeing. if you look at the demo you can see him using the same fire spell to cast a flamethrower and also to charge up and cast a fireball.I don't see how that works, how can you charge up the fireball spell if holding the button down casts the flamethrower? As for the combinations, could easily be a system where you have the following: Tap once, Tap once + hold, Double-Tap and Double-Tap + hold. Can go even further if they do timings as well. It is even more diverse since you can utilize the spell one way with it being in a single hand and another more powerful way by using the same spell in both hands. There is much opportunity I can see in this system. Even better if they allow us to use different spells in each hand and allow a special combination of the two. Just think about all the possibilities!!!
