Did anyone catch that this preview was run on a maxed out PC?

The rig that we were allowed to play the demo on was a fairly stellar piece of computer, and odds are, a lot of people are not going to have something with that much power sitting on their desks. For those who do, the game should run like a dream, but the others will most likely face compatibility issues and low graphics settings until they give in and decide to upgrade. The exact system specs haven’t been released by Bethesda yet, but I would count on needing some fairly expensive machinery to be able to run this game anywhere near high graphics settings. For those who outright can’t run the game, that means either buying it for a console (which will have all the same DLC, but no mod support for obvious reasons), or upgrading their rig. Those who can’t afford a new PC, or a console, will be SOL unfortunately

Happy I made my work buy me a new PC.

Fairly stellar piece of computer? How did he know that? By looking at the casing? ;D

(I highly doubt they were allowed to minimize Skyrim at all...)

And he continues by saying those who don't have a high-end computer should get it on the console... Does he have any idea about computers at all? ;D

A console is the same as a low-end computer...

Yeah but knowing Bethesda they'll only be spending a day optimizing the PC port. Hence you'll need 12GB of video RAM and 32 i7's to get it to run on minimum settings.

Dammit!! I only have 24 i7s!!

Darn, I'm no Russian... Too bad it's exclusive. But I think the quality map is still cooler than a metal amulet.

Are Russians not Europeans then?

They're part of the continent of Eurasia, but as far as word usage, I don't see Russians pooled together with Europeans. It's regional, and Russia/Mongolia/China etc is a different region.
