Iv000
In other non Skyrim related news:Some Game Informer guy is trying to break the Guinness world record and play Oblivion for a very long time. (I think it's 30+ hours in one sitting)You can even watch a live stream of him playing it. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2011/08/06/live-stream-watch-gi-editors-set-six-gaming-world-records.aspxIt's the second one. I have little info on Skyrim:In the night, "torch bugs" and "Luna moths" will be flying around. And guess what, they glow!I love such little details! Also, mercantile is merged with speechcraft. There is quite a bit of info on Rebels and the Empire. Contains lore spoilers!http://forums.bethsoft.com/index.php?/topic/1217561-the-stormcloaks-aka-the-rebels/ The PC may be able to join the Empire or the Rebels. -Still needs confirmation, but most likely is in. I think I beat that several times the first week I played Oblivion (and yes I'm dead serious, it usually turns out that way each time I start a new game that is immersive enough. Not sure if I should really be proud of it though...) Found a small piece of news that I don't think has been mentioned yet:"Workbenches allow you to upgrade items through six different stages." (http://www.gamebanshee.com/news/104171-the-elder-scrolls-v-skyrim-previews.html) I find it interesting that they choose the word "stages" instead of "levels" and that it is "only" 6 stages. Could it be as it was speculated before that they change visually too? Maybe just me who is reading too much into this though. What do you guys think? Ghogiel
30 hrs? no way! can't be done! No one can play a game for 30hrs straight. Impossible. :ermm: Really c'mon, the question should be who hasn't played a game for 30hrs. I know I have. On several occasions. Maybe just me who is reading too much into this though. What do you guys think? The fact that it isn't explicitly stated, which you would think they would as it would be mega awesome hype, and we all know BGS are riding that bus to work, they would have said smithing visibly changes your equipment, or you can customise your outfits appearance in some way. I just feel someone would have actually noted that. I know I would have been saying it as often as possible being a developer or a reviewer of Skyrim. I might sound a bit like this: "Hey look at this awesome thing.... you can customise your equipments appearance. Yeah that's exactly what I thought when I saw it too. jhardingame
Wait, that door they've been talking about at the end of the QuakeCon Skyrim demo; Take for example the black door adorned with a skull I found near a frigid pond in a rocky recess. When I approached the subdued soundtrack of a tranquil forest was joined by a faint, menacing drum beat. The door spoke to me in an otherworldly whisper while shimmering faintly, and asked if I knew the music of life. Dark Brotherhood much? http://fc06.deviantart.net/fs47/f/2009/204/0/f/Dark_Brotherhoods_Door_by_Aviline.jpg I know DB has already been confirmed, but that door reminds me way too much of the DB door in Oblivion.
