Yes, horses were a happy medium like you put it, and i agree that with 100 speed, its practically the same as running, but its not the fact that you go fast or not, i simply cant see myself without a horse to travel on :)

They better include mounts...because I fully intended to ride on the shoulders of a mountain troll since the day I saw it in the preview. hehehe. We have tons of modded mounts for Oblivion. And after seeing that windmill, a Farris wheel would be great fun too!

If Bethesda could uproot the implementation of the horses as they were done in Red Dead Redemption and put it in Skyrim in the same manner.....well, I'd be beside myself. I do see some similarities in the story methods but it seems like a natural progression from what they have already done.

May not be related but these guys need to know this game is not going to released this year (Actually I get the hint in 1 or 2 years.) http://www.vgrelease...ate-220425.aspx Yeah it's Fallout 4, but I read that Minecraft is coming out on the same day as Skyrim (It's coming out of it's Beta.) But anyways why do I get the hunch that, soon, Bethsoft will release something about the mounts. http://www.thenexusforums.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/tongue.gif

Eh, I wouldn't mind if they got rid of horses. Once I reached 100 speed, I could travel just about anywhere as quick as a horse.

I'd rather have horses, and a decreased running speed for the character... Being able to run as fast as a horse is just stupid, and it breaks immersion down to nothing.
