Th0raxeIV
How would you feel if Skyrim had a Co-op option or even competive Arenas?
Jermungand
Co-op would be awesome. Given all the time I've spent playing Oblivion, it's a real shame I couldn't be doing it with a friend.
JimboUK
No, development time spent on multiplayer is time not spent on the single player.
SansSword
I would adore a co-op version of an Elder Scrolls game, but it would have to be modded--I would never expect Bethesda to do it Could it be modable?
Darkness Eternal
Co-op would be great for Arena events, but for the main game I prefer single player. ~DE
scot
If it was online it could´t be moddable or maybe it would be like counterstrike where only you can see you´r mods although counterstrike mods are model replacers so I guess playing skyrim online wouldn´t be possible with mods.I wouldn´t like to see skyrim online I prefer they work hard on singe player so they can make it better. Most online games nowadays are such a let down so. ub3rman123
I'm not sure if it would work. Bethesda's design with equipment isn't tended towards the balanced. Unless they gave everyone exactly the same equipment and stats (And had to put up with complaints of, "But I wanted to be an archer!"), they'd be constantly getting reports of someone just grabbing a Stahlrim Dagger and murdering everyone on the map with an epic invisibility potion. Dianadoesitbest
It's completely possible, if bethesda Does it that would be great. But not as an MMO. More like Neverwinter nights one and two would be best. PC only. Yes you could use mods online. NWN does it. Maybe 30 max players allowed on dedicated server. Even build your own worlds, just like in NWN2. The server admin would decide what mods are used of course. Oblivion tried to get a system like this online, but would only work with vanilla. Gambryo was a crappy engine to do it on. I'm sure if it was implemented as a bonus option, and not part of the core gameplay people would set up awesome dedicated servers. <br> Edited January 26, 2011 by Dianadoesitbest
Jermungand
Dianadoesitbest, we were discussing this exact same idea on another thread just a little while ago and you were like, "No," period. o_O ?
