Count me ignorant, but-- with the author's permission or for personal use, can those be ported into Fallout?

And I apologize in advance if that's an astoundingly stupid question. I am brand-spanking-new to modding. :P

Afraid not.. Those cats in question are new only in texture and scale. They use the mountain lion mesh and skeleton from Oblivion.

Are you sure? the description has a credit for meshes and they look different.

I just downloaded it and checked the UVs. The body is the same, but the head and front paws are new.

Oh well that's that then, there are still the Morrowind ones which might be worth a look if the creator is cool about it.

Check out this mod: Link

It as an enemy called a "Wild Cat". It doesn't look cute and cuddly, but I see potential. The guy who posted it didn't make the monster models and textures, but he directed me to the one who did. I asked him about the Wild Cat, and I found out that he lacks any ability to make NEW monsters at all. All the monsters he made are just retextures or mesh edits to existing monster frames. Or, in the case of the Wild Cat, it was ported from another game.

Still, I see potential.
