Blackmage
It's just my opinion, but I think Morrowind could have been so much better if there were Tradeskills. I have the Tribunal expansion, and I haven't heard of anything like it in Bloodmoon, but if it is in there, don't mind me, I'm just passing through... Now, what do I mean by tradeskills? I mean things like Blacksmithing, Leatherworking, Glassblowing, Baking... things of that nature. In other words, making new items from already existing items. The devolpers already started it with the Alchemy skill, you create potions from regents that you find scattered around the world. But why have things like Ebony, Glass, and Scrap Metal if we can't do anything but sell it? I don't really see a point other than quick cash. What I propose is tradeskills. First of all, you would have to find the proper "ingrediants" to create the item. Let's take Blacksmithing for an example. Say you wanted to make some Ebony Greaves. The recipe would call for 8 pieces of Ebony, a Master Armorer's Hammer, and something like an Anvil and Fireplace, where you could work the metal. Obviously, the process would be much like Enchanting or Alchemy, all menu based and whatnot. The same could go for all sorts of the little jobs around Morrowind... Everything has to come from somewhere. Bakers could make bread, cakes, and other little treats. Glassblowers would be able to make things such as Glass Armor and Glass Cups. Not only would this provide for better items, customizable items, better prices for those scrounged up chunks of Ebony... it would also provide for nicer home making. C'mon, I can bet most of the chicks who play and have a stronghold have decorated the poo outta that place... and how better to decorate it than custom made Glass and Clay dishes? And Tradeskills don't even have to be in the normal skill lists! Think about it, people don't just get off a boat and automatically they're good at smithing... they could all start out as minor skills, no matter what. Comment, congratulate, flame... do your worst! ThetaOrionis01
C'mon, I can bet most of the chicks who play and have a stronghold have decorated the poo outta that place... and how better to decorate it than custom made Glass and Clay dishes? Err....how about 'no'? I don't play Morrowind to take up flower arranging or pottery :P My stronghold is a place where I leave stuff I can't be bothered carrying around with me - not a little place where I can play at setting up home and bake cookies. Roleplaying as a homemaker is about as enticing a proposition as scrubbing my front doorstep. I sure hope your remark wasn't intended as sexist as it comes across <_<

Pack Rat
It's a nice idea but i think it's pretty much useless in a single player. If morrowind would have had a multiplayer then it would be excellent
Switch
Hmm, well it sounds good from a roleplayers point of view. I wouldn't mind making my own armour or weapons, that's for sure! As for the other ones, like baking bread, making pottery, sound pretty pointless unless you're working with a MMORPG. Oh, and BTW, if you've offended Theta, I suggest you start running, sorta now-ish. ;)
