HellsMaster
Hello. This thread is mostly aimed at Rob. I am going to be honest i dont really download mods here anymore, i got tired of a buggy oblivion. Now, we know that there are LOTS of people who browse the forum daily, so instead of putting that video ad on the download page how about you install a dedicated ad bot? I have been on a website where a bot post an ad in every page (i think) i mean, everybody scrolls through the thread so everybody contribute to the site. That bot posts on everythread (or maybe in a certain category) and that get the revenue up right? Opinions? Your sincerly, HM
Deleted1848331User
There could be adbars too, like on Webs for instance. Edited February 10, 2011 by Guest

Argomirr
The major problem I see with hat is that most people don't even bother to visit the forums, they just download their files and leave. Such ads wouldn't get a fraction of the views the ads on the sites get. That, and ads like those might send out the wrong message: it's essentially an off topic post so it certainly wouldn't contribute towards a good discussion and people may think it's okay to spam or advertise. Pronam
The major problem I see with hat...What's wrong with hat :(http://451heat.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/12/TopHatAround1905.jpg Couldn't resist argo :DSuch ads woulld need even more monitoring as they aren't governed by google in any way. And..only 8% ever posts on the forum... so you miss out a potential of more than 90% (ok some people watch and don't post...but still.)
Dark0ne
I've always kept the forums ad free in the past 9 years. Community, the forums, and getting people to post on the forums is important and anything I can do to encourage it (or not discourage it) I will.
