antonkr
Alright dictator is out. Now what, who will be in charge now? Someone even worse?
IndorilTheGreat
Alright dictator is out. Now what, who will be in charge now? Someone even worse? Currently the military. Hopefully they will have a new election soon, as they promised to the citizens (i.e. they would support them).

Hopefully I am wrong though.
Harbringe
Mubarak has resigned , the people have wonThe perils of jumping to conclusions, is that the sudden stop at the end of the free fall is a bummer. Mubarak has not resigned. Edit: Should listen to myself (LOL), you are now right, he has resigned. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RJamPASyC98 I was right when I said it ,your just slow getting the news .When he resigned his military post ,people started saying he was gone , waited through that till he resigned the Presidency ,then posted. You are ever so gracious in victory despite the fact that I acknowledged my error in forum, at least I have the good grace to admit when I am wrong. It would have been a simple affair to edit my post to cover my mistake, however I choose not to but to credit you with the appropriate acknowledgments of veracity. If you must, enjoy this fleeting moment.

I'm so sorry I did not realize that was what you were doing .Thought you were assuming I was mistaking his military resignation with his resignation of the Presidency at the time I posted .So thanks ........... runs around the room ,does a little jig .lol .My victories are eternal in nature never fleeting .lol

That seems to work just fine here in the USA.
marharth
I honestly hope the people don't just accept military rule and a rigged vote... If this turns into another Iran I am going to be seriously pissed.
IndorilTheGreat
That seems to work just fine here in the USA. That's what Lobbyists are for. I am curious as to what will occur over the next few weeks, and possibly even days. Will the military hold up the promise of a democracy, or will they simply remain in power until "they see fit?" Perhaps they will become a military based democracy - something along the lines of a militia (the way the US military was originally supposed to be...). But hey, times change, and situations change with the passing of said time.
