Thank you very-very much, my dear friend, you're cool, and I'll pray to gods for your richnessl <3

I tried installing a mod or two, and now all the npcs are too small. The size of my own character is too large. I've solved this before by uninstalling and reinstalling oblivion entirely but I'm too far into the game to do so again. I don't know which mod is corrupting my game. I think it's Deadly Reflexes but I don't know how to uninstall the mod manually. Help!

Update: It's a camera bug that happens when I install deadly reflex. I tried to uninstall it but the bug is still there. I'm panicking. I don't know what to do. I don't want to uninstall and reinstall and delete all my data to solve it and lose all my progress!

Wrong thread. This is for helping people find mods they're looking for.

Okay, so here's the problem. I have tried everything to Mod Oblivion correctly and nothing has worked thus far. At first, I attempted to use Nexus Mod Manager. But every time I attempted to open Oblivion, it immediately crashed. Then I started using Wrye Bash, even though it was a pain to get up and running as I use the steam version of Oblivion. But then I attempted to use the Deadly Reflex mod, and a camera bug came into play wherein the npcs and my own character appeared to be much smaller. I tried to root out the problem as much as I could, but it only worked when I completely uninstalled Oblivion and deleted all of its files. Now, I'm attempting to use Oblivion Mod Manager, which seems to be the simplest solution. But now I am having the same problem as I am having when using Nexus Mod Manager, the game keep crashing on start.

So I tried only installing a limited number of mods, including The Unofficial Oblivion Patches, the 12146 Patch, enginebugfixes, OBSE, OBGE, and that's it. Then again, I probably don't need the 12146 patch, as the steam version are already up to date. Will doing so help? Whenever I pull up the launcher menu, there are three invalid esm files where they should be, including the citadel door fix, the oblivion patch, and vampire aging. As of now, I have had the misery of uninstalling Oblivion seven times and will about to do so an eighth.

Now Oblivion freezes whenever I just install the Oblivion patch and the shivering Isles patch. This never happened with Wrye Bash!! what the f*** is happening?

First of all, you haven't even tried to mod Oblivion correctly. The use of Nexus Mod Manager is discouraged by the nexus staff itself.

Second, do you have Oblivion GOTY or GOTY Deluxe? Both are up to date, so you don't need the patch, however Deluxe includes DLCs that have their own unofficial patches and it may be the reason why is telling you about the missing masters, since the unofficial patches are plugins that rely on the DLC masters.

Third, you should either keep using Wrye Bash or migrate to Mod Organizer 2. And read the tutorials given by the managers. You may as well play the vanilla game for a while, put the settings to the values you want, and then drop OBSE files into Oblivion, and finally start installing the mods the way you want.

I was one of the original players of Oblivion...from the first day it came out in March 06...But after Skyrim came out...I moved on. Now I am finally coming back, but there is one mod I can not remember the name of. All I remember was that it made the weight of objects way less. But it also did a ream of other things, I think. Anybody know what I am speaking about?

Also...searching for a texture mod that makes textures 4k...or at least 2k. And DOESN'T require Wrye Bash.

For the latter try Oblivion Upscaled Textures.

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a mod that's based on a necromancer who has a secret hideout in a small farm house. I remember that you have to go down and around a corner in the house, then there is an easel with a painting, and when you touch the painting, it takes you to his secret hideout. I can't remember the name to save the life of me, and I can't find it here on the Nexus by searching for "Necromancer" so if you guys could help me that'd be great.

Thanks!

Tracy
