Here's a challenge for ya.

I've been having a hard time finding some good armor, or in my case Light Armor. Now I'm not talking good just in usefulness, but in design and uniqueness. I've been a bit disappointed so far with most ... just either a retexture here, perhaps a recolor there. Most light armor in game is just too bulky, however, in reverse, the DB skintight armor just doesn't seem to fit the bill either. Either way, I'm always looking like an assassin, or I'm looking like I'm just pretending to be in plate armor.

I'm looking for something that stands between those, either in new meshes or clever swapping of designs. An example of something I might look for: Simple white longsleeved tunic with a tight leather vest. Vest and belt are adorned by pouches, maybe even a dagger somewhere. The forearms would have leather straps, or perhaps bracers or gives a smooth space to use gloves. Vest below would be something like short length beneath the belt, or a fancy "coat-tail" that extends from the front to back of the legs, no longer than 2-3 feet. Pants would be something padded, but not skin tight yet not too loose to the legs. Finally some good ol' traveler's boots, heavy leather, or just worn.

Just an example there.

Now, I'm not looking for eye candy. I'm not interested in light armors that cause characters to look like scantly clad body builders. I want it to look as good as it is useful, with perhaps a touch of modesty here and there.

I know this makes the requirements to this search really tight, but I really look forward to something that could help some of my "scouts" and "Light adventurers" look like what they should be.

So? Think you're up for it? Is there armor or clothing that meets this challenge?

Take your pick:

First one: Not bad, but another variation of the Assassin armor. Interesting how they combine the chain mail "skirt" to both.

Second One: Nice variation on the Assassin Armor, however as said, I'm looking for something not so skintight.

Third One: That's a nice one. Good for the Casual Treasure Hunter or Freelance Mage kind of idea. A bit closer to the idea.

Fourth One: Assassin. I applaud the look, I like it, thought I'm looking for something less skin tight.

All four are decent, but One, Two, and Four fall into the skin tight assassin type idea. Not quite what I'm looking for. Three is about the closest, which a combo of armor and casual clothing.

I'm actually using that mod right now, very suitable set of armor. It's very close to what I look for ... however, like all, there's always room for more improvement. There are a few variations of this armor too. Check out the Author "Andragorn" ... he's got a good selection of Weapons and Armor to go with it.

Hello Fellow Gamers.

Im looking for a mod i saw awhile ago.

Its a mod where you could have a dagger or a sword sheated on your character while having a bow equiped.

so you could use the bow. but the sword or the dagger would only be on your character Visually.

Hope you understand me and thanks in advance.
