I'll try and respond to any questions that have been posted tomorrow as it's quite early here and I now need to get some sleep.

To let you all know, we've had a great uptake in the survey with over 6500+ responses and they're still coming in thick and fast. Robin sent a video of my iPad earlier and the pings were like morse code. So I now have my work cut out to collate the information while reading through each and every comment.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has put the time and effort into completing it, it's truly appreciated.

Yah, I assumed you meant the address I used on my Steam account, but if that wasn't it.. *shrugs*

My Biggest Suggestions Were Checkout layouts of Reality websites as they are common for the ideas of searching for stuff. Tags, Certifications Are a Big Deal for many sites that have mods. Top, Good Gems will be easier to find as well as Exactly what people are looking for.. Ie Sound mods for certain things or (name) city overhauls Ect. Just a Refined More streamlined Site, Layout would help out aswell. Make it so we dont have to click page by page and can have a infinite scroll would also be a blessing.

I also Hope we can figure out how to keep The tabs section on mods Maybe on the leftside instead of just the top.
but its very buggy, videos constantly Break and clicking back and forth causes issues, Pages Crash. This needs to be reworked!!!!

Finally I hope more tabs could be added or Sections to mods. For ex. I hope to see ,Help Section, Updates, Compatibility Tab. Ect not just all this s#*! shoved in a fourm. The bug Tab should be mandatory as well
ps. Welcome to Nexus =D hope good things will come !!

Yep, should of clarified that further. It's the email address that you use with Steam.

I think that's the way Gift card works? I wouldn't know as I've never been gift one :'(

NeoNord wrote: WELCOME Blindjudge ! I have responded to Dark0ne's survey but I share Brigand231's concerns about relying on the metrics too much. As a species we are very adaptable and those of us who come here often (breaks into song) "grown accustomed to her face" (Sorry , got a bit carried away). My point is, I am NOT unhappy with the site, it is one of my favs. However, I am sure that there are behind-the-scenes changes which will make the site more efficient but I (like many other users) lack the training and expertise to know what is possible and feasible (economically). I would love to join in a protracted conversation on the possibilities but don't think your timeline projection would allow for that. If you are designing for the current users then any significant front end change will create a "hassle factor" of unlearning the old and learning the new. If you are trying to attract new users by all mean keep it as simple as possible. This is entertainment so the easier for the end user the better (said the old guy that loaded 160+ mods to an already great game). Good Luck Mon Capitan and as my favorite Captain says "Engage!"

Hey NeoNord,

We're going to be opening this up to the community every step of the way, the actual process will be very much user led with people able to contribute as much or as little as they would like.

I'll be posting whenever something new is happening and will always be asking for feedback and assistance, the whole point is to come out at the end with a site that not only attracts new visitors, but also one that established users find quicker, intuitive to use and more aesthetically please.

Feel free to drop me a PM at any time, input is incredibly important on this journey.

people don't fear change...ESPECIALLY not gamers...What people fear is the game will cease to be enjoyable and they have been patterned to expect that often change that is necessary to adhere to contemporaneous methods or preferences...is invariably followed by changes to fix the changes...what people fear most is that the process will be drawn out.

Change is often good if done in the right way. With the input of those it is most important to!

Bit off topic, but COD4 is one of my favourite games of all time. When Infinity Ward released MW2, they did so without regard to the PC gaming communities that had been forged over the previous version. I truly believe that had they consult their loyal fan base and discovered what they were after in a new game, it could of been 100% better.

This change may be a long process, but it's so that we can get it right, listen to the community and make changes to better the NexusMods experience for them. :)
