ginnyfizz
Am stuck again. Due to my fingers not being quick enough (arthritic) I cannot get past the bit where you have to fist fight the guards and the executioner to save Dandelion and Zoltan from the noose. If anyone has a save just past that point that they could let me have, not to mention tell me where the saves go to, I'd be very grateful.

Iv000
Comparison between games that supposedly belong to the same genre is unavoidable. Deal with it. TW2 totally blows DA2 out of the water. Shows what can be done with an RPG if given enough time. There. That's really the extent of what can be said. Now we can discuss The Witcher 2. Also, I was at the RPG codex forums yesterday. According to a lot of idiots there TW2 is a consolized piece of s*** designed for 'consoletard untermenschen'. Last time I'm visiting the piece of s*** forum. Really couldn't believe how people would nitpick for reasons to 'prove' that a game is dumbed down. I found TW2 to be one of the best RPGs I've played in a long time, and that includes Dragon Age: Origins. I agree.I would cross the line and say that the Witcher 2 is underrated. DA2 has a very high score despite it being one of the worst sequels ever, THAT is truly consolized s***. I didn't say I hate the game, it is just dumbed down, a lot.The Witcher 2 deserves GOTY, if Skyrim won't be better. Truly one of the best RPG's i have ever played. If I could rate it I would give it a 9.7/10.

Bloodplague
@'hector530' I think steam removes the game then you have to redownload to reinstall, this has been my expirience so far.
Halororor
Just backup the relevant folder in SteamApps/Common in your Steam install directory. Then when you want to reinstall the game, you can just copy the games back into the Steamapps folder and it'll automatically detect the files as already being there, meaning it won't download a thing. brokenergy
Could we not drag DA2 into this? Please? People had enough with the comparisons and draging it here would just make things worse. Comparison between games that supposedly belong to the same genre is unavoidable. Deal with it. They are two very different games and that's why I think the comparisons are skewed. I know that TW2 is better than DA2 but I wouldn't compare them in the same catagory. There are certain things that TW2 does better than DA2 and there are certain things that DA2 does better than TW2. All I want is TW2 to be judged by it's own merits, not by someone elses.

CommanderCrazy
If you backup the files to reinstall, then you will have the exact same, possibly glitched ones. Id just redownload the whole thing.
