coin409
So I have a ATI RADEON X800 and it is a very bad card (Fallout 3 recommended a X850, so I'm SO CLOSE!) And I've seen RAM Booster links but they won't work, just say "ID Not Found." My card still runs Fallout 3 but still, it sometimes lags and CTDs. If someone can give me a working RAM Booster link (To maybe here, in NEXUS) that would be great. I also use Game Booster to Defrag Fallout 3, but that didn't change much, and it really doesn't help if I use it when running Fallout 3. I also use the Large Address Ware thingy and it still doesn't do anything. Gah, listen to me rant about my problem. Can anyone help me?
SteelPipboy
Lower your graphic settings on Fallout 3, as for the CTD's Im still trying to figure out whats causing it and finding a fix. Here is a possible solution for a CTD Here Edited February 28, 2011 by SteelPipboy
proconsu1
More info on when it lags and when and how frequently it CTDs would be helpful. Also the rest of your system specs would be a big help.
Fatalmasterpiece
To tell you the truth I've never been a big believer in software boosters. In theory your hardware, besides overclocking, is already optimized to run as well as it can and adding more software to your system is only going to slow it down further. Others may feel differently but keeping your running processes low and startup items to a minimal is more effective than some supposed speed boost. evilneko
Fallout Stutter Remover. Get it. Now. Sooner. FASTER. (Also, FOSE clears the large address aware flag anyway, probably why it didn't do anything)
