CaarosKingOfChaos
I looked at that and it seems a bit ridiculous to me. It seems over dramatized in their features, and Maormer don't even breathe water. Edited August 2, 2015 by CaarosKingOfChaos
megageeklizzy
Would a pale texture(maybe with less than 100% opacity) and a detailed subsurface map be able to achieve the look you're going for?
CyranGE
maybe yes :)
CaarosKingOfChaos
What CyranGe showed us earlier is just fine if you ask me.
CaarosKingOfChaos
CyranGE, how is the mod going? I really would like to see your progress.
ScRBMCMavenEndo
The Maormer race could have a couble different pre-sets/complexions, right? There could be one type of Sea Elf that uses a more fish-like texture or has scale-like skin & there could be another type that has more jellyfish-like traits. If one wanted to make the jellyfish-like traits, all one might need might just be an altered ghost texture for the outer layer /skin (the Spectral Draugr of Labrynthian could be a starting base). In any case, there could be at least a few choices in character customization that could handle the bit of variation on the Maormer. It also might not be such a bad idea to allow for them to have options for slightly blue, grey, green, & mixed (teal) tinges. Maormer are not Falmer after all, plus they do live in much more tropical locations. They still might not react the same way to sun though, since they apparently live in a somewhat stormy region about the Padomaic Ocean. They still could have slightly more aquatic abilities than regular elves, though they might not be able to water-breath like Argonians (they still might be able to dive deeper than an Altmer though). CaarosKingOfChaos
To those who were working on it, have you made any progress?
Caerulean
Looking forward to a proper Maormer mod as well. :) There's someone who made an 'Aquamer' and a Maormer race mod and the person is good at aesthetics, but their Maormer race was not lore-accurate while their Aquamer mod actually looked closer to lore-Maormer. However, it lacks a female version and also adds a Chimer race which I believe shouldn't exist anymore. Edited April 1, 2016 by Caerulean
CaarosKingOfChaos
Holy-moly-string-cheese-mahony, somebody actually made it on their own completely regardless of this forum but still proper and lore friendly for Special Edition. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6378/?
