The Raiders are Invisible

I just performed a clean install of Fallout 3 along with several mods. However, despite the correct load order when I am in-game the Raiders and some other NPC's are invisible. I have had these mods before and have had no problems. My companions and i can be walking the wasteland and all of a sudden my companions start shooting at invisible targets-- and until the raiders are right on top of me they remain invisible. I tried unchecking all of the mods and the problem still persist. Can anyone assist? Any suggestions? Thank you.

Nothing jumps out at me in your list. Have you checked your graphics settings? You did say you just reinstalled.

I really don't know what it was that was causing that!?! Last night I uninstalled everything and put it all back. This morning everything is as it should be?!? The only exception is getting funkidud3_hot_billboards to work. I think perhaps it was because I had both Megaton and Rivet City Hi-Res mods set at 400% maximum. When I resinstalled everything last night I used the 200% Hi-Res settings instead. Anyway, I do appreciate your response. Thank you.

Sounds like you were set to use a set of textures that was either missing or incompatible with your video card/settings. No textures = nothing to see, if I understand it correctly (which I might not). :ermm:
