ComboHunter
Hello, I am in need of help about load order in Fallout 3. I already installed some .esp mods and others and I am wondering about how should I execute fallout to correctly load everything in the right order?I am currently using FOSE for one required mod, a list of normal mods.esp and Nexus Mod Manager. The problem right now is using everything to execute without problems. With the NMM I can choose the load order, but cant execute FOSE (from what I know. Sorry, newb with modding :P). Executing only fose I can make the one mod I use to work, but cant choose the load order. Thanks for your attention.

In order for the mods to work, you need to launch the game through NMM, using the option to launch FOSE. If FOSE was installed correctly, which is a manual install, the option will appear in NMM where you would normally launch the game. If you are using Steam to handle the game, there is some workaround necessary. I use neither NMM nor Steam, but have seen posts explaining how to get Fallout 3 to launch through FOSE with Steam. Oh, thanks for the answer. I'll try to do that. One thing: is there a way to make a shortcut using the NMM? Or I'll need to open NMM and execute FOSE through it everytime I want to play FO3? BlackRampage
One thing: is there a way to make a shortcut using the NMM? Or I'll need to open NMM and execute FOSE through it everytime I want to play FO3? Find FOSE_loader.exe in your main Fallout 3 directory and right-click on it to add a shortcut to your desktop. You can even rename the shortcut if you want. Clicking the shortcut will launch the game through FOSE without needing to start NMM every time you want to play.
