MarkQuinn
All these idiot modders who think Elder Scrolls games are mere expansions for The Sims, who never actually play the games but are always on top of the latest Japanese posing mods so they can be the first to use that great new reverse cowgirl in the "official" Bethesda screenshot threads, and believe a g-string and a pair of nipple tassels constitute appropriate heavy armor for females, will suddenly find themselves trying to justify how the arctic climate of the north will spawn the latest fashions in adventurer lingerie. Now flame away. I never check this site anyway.
ub3rman123
Umm.. Calling the modders idiots is probably not the best choice of words.
buddah
Mark your point is not lost one me, always wondered what would keep them warm in the norther climes myself. He is referring to mod users in love with scantily clad females, not on those that create mods. Hell he has been creating mods longer than most on this site,
CrayolaColours
I wont lie, I lol'd. He was rude about it, but he has a point. I'm going to nonstop lol when I see a mod like that for Skyrim. I don't care what people do with their game, but it would just look so ridiculous.
antonkr
Although rude he has a really really good point.

ITOS
*scratches head* if this ain't trolling I don't know what is but... *shrugs and walks away*He does ask for flame and wont bother to reply, so it doesn't seem like much more than a provocation. And, really, how can the worst part of a single player game be what other players use it for? But regarding the topic of impractical clothing, I would say that most (if not everyone) are well aware of them being nothing more than eye candy. This is a none-issue. ginnyfizz
In a way he does have a point, although he IS rude. When my Skyrim gals are outdoors they will be covered in the snowy and icy parts of Skyrim, although it seems from what I've seen from screens and other publicity that not all of it is frozen wastes. However, I personally will find excessive sight of screens of toons in full suits of the heavy tin can type armor equally immersion breaking - that stuff would be for the tiltyard only. Pushkatu
When I first saw the title of your topic I was about to post a reply entirely based on the title, then I red your post and I had a surprize. I find this to be quite funny, but in a more serious way. We can only wait and see how Skyrim modding scene will be like. There's not going to be any warm sunsets on the Anvil beach there so any skimpy outfits will probably look realy funny in such an environment. I have this feeling that they will become even more popular due to the fact that Skyrim NPCs will probably have better bodies and with some tweaking they'll look even more hot than the Oblivion ones. It only takes one good environment mod to remove the snow. Anyway, I have nothing against any sort of mods, gameplay styles or what ever, I'm just amazed that so many people prefer to play it that way, instead of a more ..let's say traditional way. My Skyrim character will have his beer belly visible if that will be posible. Cheers and beers,Pushkatu
LadyMilla
Double standards? It is apparently okay to assume that mages can shoot fireballs without burning their hands and it is fine that you can withstand several hits even when the attacker wields a greatsword bigger than him or you can have a tiny ring that increases your armor value or resistances without covering every inch of your body with thick armor plating, but when it is a revealing outfit, suddenly certain people are up in arms and cry for 'realism' or - as some other players put it - 'plausibility'. You just have to assume that the outfit has some inherent magical property that creates an invisible barrier that acts like heavy armor or provides cold resistance. It's not more implausible than surviving several arrow hits puncturing your chest.
