Favourite books

LALALA

Recommended Posts

1. The lord of the rings

2. The hobbit

3. Not sure about this one.... Okay, probably have some read better books but one of the few Star Wars books worth reading is Timothy Zahn's Thrawn trilogy.

And ofcourse we got the rift war saga, and .. and... Nah... hard to pick a third place.... :P

1 and 2 is way better than any other books i have read. :)

The first three books that come to my mind are:

1. The Lord of the Rings - by J.R.R. Tolkien

2. The Portrait of Dorian Gray - by Oscar Wilde

3. Pride and Prejudice - by Jane Austen.

Now they're not necessarily the three books I prefer, there

are many more, and they're not necessarily in this order

of importance... Theta's right, next time make it "our 100

favourite books" :)

By favourites I assume you mean books I read more than once. Otherwise they tend to be 'favourite of the moment'. We have had a similar thread elsewhere but we weren't restricted to three.

So:-

1. Anything by Terry Pratchett

2. Gormenghast trilogy by Mervyn Peake

3. Anything about Asterix (if that counts as a book?)

I read the Lord of the Rings trilogy several years ago in 24 hours - couldn't put it down. But I'm damned if I can read it again without falling asleep. As soon as the word Lembas appears my eyes close. I'll stick to the films and the music!

Well, I'm not a big reader, but of the books I have read probably...

Hirry Puttrey (:P)

Oh and the Horrible Histories books! Funny stuff :P

Those are the only books I've ever really read.
