Maquissar
The first three books that come to my mind are: 1. The Lord of the Rings - by J.R.R. Tolkien2. The Portrait of Dorian Gray - by Oscar Wilde3. Pride and Prejudice - by Jane Austen. Now they're not necessarily the three books I prefer, thereare many more, and they're not necessarily in this orderof importance... Theta's right, next time make it "our 100favourite books" :)
Malchik
By favourites I assume you mean books I read more than once. Otherwise they tend to be 'favourite of the moment'. We have had a similar thread elsewhere but we weren't restricted to three. So:- 1. Anything by Terry Pratchett2. Gormenghast trilogy by Mervyn Peake3. Anything about Asterix (if that counts as a book?) I read the Lord of the Rings trilogy several years ago in 24 hours - couldn't put it down. But I'm damned if I can read it again without falling asleep. As soon as the word Lembas appears my eyes close. I'll stick to the films and the music!
