Kiomei1
Yeah, I always hate it when it does this. Anyways, tried moving over Archive Invalidation Program to the file. Crash. Moved over the FOSE folders to enable it, Startup, crash. I'm not sure, I used a separate folder and spent 2 hours getting the necessary mods for a COTW experience again, but I dunno what's wrong. This is my load order. Plus I'm using a new mod specifically for COTW and Shojo, but it doesn't appear to be the problem. I'll try FWE and see if it works. http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=15913 Fallout3.esmAnchorage.esmThePitt.esmBrokenSteel.esmPointLookout.esmZeta.esmHairPack.esmCRAFT.esmCALIBR.esmFO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esmFO3 Wanderers Edition - Alternate Travel.espShojo Race.esmEnhancedChildren.esmAliciasCuteShop.esmSharing and Caring Companions.esmChildhood Beginning.espDarNifiedUIF3.espSCC - Talk to Anyone.espFO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.espFO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Anchorage.espFO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC The Pitt.espFO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Broken Steel.espFO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Point Lookout.espFO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Mothership Zeta.espFO3 Wanderers Edition - Followers Enhanced (BrokenSteel).esp1PipboyPDA.espOwned!.espShojo Companions.espTestweapon_SP Teddybear-Spirits.espAliciasCuteShopDoorOverride.espfixattempt1.esp I reviewed on the mod sections the load orders and this made the most sense to me, and I'm just lost now. proconsu1
Your load order is indeed jacked up. Get and install BOSS. Also, you shoulda read the instructions to FWE a little more carefully. It tells you there not to use both versions of the VATS plugins (halftime and realtime), to pick one or the other or neither. The same goes for the Restore Tracers plugins, choose EITHER of them or neither of them, but not both. Lastly, you really should be using a merged patch. You should get and install FO3edit and use that to make one. And I have no idea what you meant about trying to "move over" the Archive Invalidation program or FOSE. Could you explain in more detail exactly what you did?
Kiomei1
You see, I was using a backup Fallout 3 Folder, which contained all the original data given by Bethesda, as a way of starting over, I got frustrated with having to always delete my mod folders, recopy it for 15 minutes, then add mods for another hour or two. So I kept two separate ones. As for FO3Edit, I did that too but no luck either. I'll try and go back on the load orders and check out BOSS. Did as you said, and no luck haha. Ah well, guess it wasn't meant to be. Edited March 22, 2011 by Kiomei1
proconsu1
You really should be using a mod manager like FOMM or Wyre Flash, rather relying on manual copying and overwriting of files and folders as your install method. That would make these types of issues much more easy to avoid, diagnose and resolve.
Kiomei1
That's exactly what I'm doing lol, I use FOMM anytime with mods. But that's okay, I just don't understand what is causing this problem, normally I fix problems like this. *shrug* Ah well, thanks though.
proconsu1
You do realize that FOMM keeps backups of everything it changes when you install from FOMod files, right? There is no need to keep a whole secondary installation. Anyway, if you are giving up for now, that's cool. But if you are still trying to get it to work, then reinstalling FOSE and then reposting your new load order would be the next steps.
Kiomei1
Yeah but most of the mods I have are manual install only, copy paste, the usual. Sighhh.

Sighhh.I can help you if you wish, If I understand the first post correctly, I extrapolate from it that your "Moving files?" This all by it's self tells the story, your setting the moved files up with Windows permission problems, it will never run that way.Look at all the files from within the games directory for pad locks on the files, I mean every folder, Data, textures, meshes etc... You see any padlocks on files, thats your problem. And for starters, just untill you get into the game acually running, remove this mod(Sharing and Caring Companions.esm)it hampers startup of the game flat out !
