Kroosinator
So my Fallout New Vegas immediately crashes every time I try to start it, no Betheseda symbol, no nothing, it just crashes instantly as soon as it attempts to load the game. I do not have Overwolf or Raptr installed on my comp. I do have some mods installed, here's the list: Willow - A Better Companion ExperienceThe Mod Configuration MenuWasteland Flora OverhaulWeapon Retexture Project - WRPMTUIMore PerksNevada Skies - Weather EffectsA World Of PainWeapon Animation ReplacersProject Nevada PatchesUnlimited CompanionsNew Vegas Bounties INew Vegas Bounties IIEVE - Essential Visual EnhancementsWeapon Mods Expanded - WMXProject NevadaThis is my first time using and installing mods. All mods are installed and active. I have not touched any of the game files at all, this is in fact my second time actually booting up the game. My PC is pretty powerful so I don't think it would be the source of the problem. I am assuming some of the mods either overwrite one another or are not their most updated version. Please confirm my assumptions, thanks.
Kroosinator
I have now tried to run the game without mods and it works perfectly, must be the mods then. I don't know which mods are causing it to crash or if they're at their most updated state but I will check later. In the meantime, I hope one of you gives some tips on how I can solve other than what I said. Thanks.

Follow the tips shown here: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/652876-fallout-3-modding-and-you/ I know it is for Fallout 3, just replace the FO3 references with Fallout: New Vegas. Skyviper086
If that's the order your mods are being loaded then your problem is that you have Project Nevada Patches being listed before Project Nevada. Basically It's your load order it happens all the time when running mods and it will crash a game. It's not the mods fault either. What happens is that you have a program that requires another program. For instance you have a mod that uses Project Nevada Patches. Which of course requires Project Nevada so when the game loads Project Nevada Patches but doesn't load Project Nevada it causes a huge mess and your game doesn't run. Another thing you're missing is (again this is if what you listed is your actual load order) is NVSE and the Someguy Series ESM which is needed for New Vegas Bounties 1 and 2. In short you have a load order issue. In addition to missing some critical files. When running lots of mods pay attention to what mods need what. Always read those boring readme files too because a lot of times mod developers include instructions on how to avoid things like this. Oh and almost forgot if you haven't done so already watch Gophers Mod Clinic series very useful for new modders. And follow the links the others mentioned. Kroosinator
I now ran LOOT, and I found out and fixed most of my problems. The only problems I have are missing files I require. The ones I require are:\nvse_loader.exeEVE FNV - NO GRA.esp? (Kinda confused about this one, turns out I have two)WMX-HonestHearts.espWMX-OldWorldBlues.espWMX-GunRunnersArsenal.espI don't know how to get these files, so some help would be wonderful. The most troublesome mod is EVE, it is very confusing for me. I am also confused about NevadaSkies - TTW edition as I have Fallout 3 and the DLC installed.EVE has an edition I'm confused about, what's TIS Disabled? Anyways, thanks everyone for the tips so far. You guys are da real MVP! :D
Skyviper086
You get NVSE from http://nvse.silverlock.org/It's hosted off site. TTW is a mod that is for Fallout New Vegas (in case you didn't know) the mod TTW just requires some assets to be used from Fallout 3 (for serious legal reasons that cannot include all of the FO3 assets for the New Vegas mod) (I think that may have changed but I do know that's one of or was one of the reasons you needed FO3 as well) This is why I always have my narrators stress the part of the reading the readme files. We all know very well that its like when you first start modding your games. And we all know how just frustrating it can be when a mod doesn't work. I have problems like these from time to time myself. 8 out of 10 times I find the solution in the read me. Sometimes I find the solution in the comments section of the file. And sometimes I simply can't solve the problem. But that's what great about mod sites. You have cool mods and great people that are wiling to help. i hope everything works out for you (and don't forget to archive invalidate! :) )
