Windows 10 spy tools come to Windows 7 and 8 via update

Microsoft goes crazy. The privacy nightmare known from Windows 10 comes through the update packages KB3022345 and KB3068708 and KB3075249 and KB3080149.

Microsoft itself calls it "Diagnostics and Telemetry tracking", to receive some current features from Windows 10.

Unmark/Uninstall them to keep your system away from advanced spying. Probably more such packages arrive in the course of time.

To uninstall updates, check 'ere. Wouldn't be surprised if Windows doesn't get rid of them completely, though.

By the way, the lovely Windows 10 upgrade un-hides itself. I uninstalled the KB update that added the W10 upgrade icon to the system tray and then I hid the Windows 10 upgrade too. Today, it decided to un-hide itself.

Last night a Windows 10 compatibility thing was installed without my consent when I installed several security updates, the thing thrashed my hard drive, hammered my firewall and hijacked my browser, I've disabled Windows Update completely now. I paid for Windows 7, they have no right to pull stunts like this, I won't install Windows 10 no matter how much they pester me.
