Strange LOD problem

After changing omod archive invalidation from BSA redirection to BSA alteration, i recived strange lod error in the area facing skingrad from south and the south gate of skingrad, and there is a tear in the lod.

I didnt installed any new mod at the past weeks. two days ago my toon was running from Meridia's Shrine to skingrad and this error wasnt present.

I tried to change the archive invalidation back to BSA redirection but it helped.

Number one: you should never use BSA alteration. BSA redirection, the default in OBMM, is the only method to use. Your bsa files (at least some of them) have been altered and may need reinstalling.

 

Number two: your mod load order is causing land tears. You need to run BOSS and build a Bashed Patch.

Actually I think that this is a Vanilla issue. I once was an avid Oblivion player on the 360 (two years to be exact) and this issue was always present. Yes, I said on the 360. So I do not think that it is anything on her end actually.

 

I just think that it is the way Oblivion renders it's LOD. However I could also be wrong. Like I said though; it was on the 360. I really do not think that there is anything you can do to be honest.

Im just speaking from experience from a time when there was no such thing as being able to mess any single part of your game. I had the same issues then.

The land tearing is obviously not normal at all. That is a mod issue of course. But the funny looking LOD is what I have always seen.

I havnt seen land tearing, only the lod problem in this area, something that happened after i changed the archive invalidation.

I feel so stupid for changing the archive invalidation due to the fact that i didnt had any yellow exclamation mark, and no reason to preform this change.

I've seen a you tube movie about omod archive invalidation and this was the suggestion.

 

Hickory: thanks for the suggestion can you please tell me what esps are suspected as lend tearing.

Many. All of your ULs are out of place, you have Elsweyr Anequina, you have Kvatch Rebuilt, you have various other location mods. As I have said, you need to sort your load order with BOSS, and build a Bashed Patch.
