MotoSxorpio
@OP Two hours. First half hour is copying Vanilla folder from one Steam folder to another. Next hour is copying pre-packaged esp and bsa for mods I know I want in my load. Final half hour adjusting load order and copying backups of INIs, and other settings. Over the years I've created repackaged NMM installer/Bain installer/MO installer type files into simple BSA and ESP/ESM packed under Data folder in a 7z named for the mod. Each has a working folder in which I can manipulate the contents, re-pack to bsa and plop into data. The only loose files are retextures, wip script fixes/experiments, animations and behaviors. Nothing else is loose file if I can help it. Doing it this way creates one condition to be met: load order actually counts as priority, since loose files are WIP or test (besides anims/behaviors, easier to let them be loose for change out for different play styles). Cedry2kRo
Starting from 0 to fully moded.. few days at least. Hardest part for me is to figure out what I want to install other than the essential mods. I always find something else that I want after I'm done modding usually. Lisnpuppy
Well that depends-If you are talking about the mods I use every time then yeah-a couple of hours from downloading the clean game to running the minimal. The Fallout games are much more flaky in my opinion to run-and there are less amounts of mods you can shove in the game. Skyrim and Oblivion seem more forgiving. But actually-I never stop modding the game. There is a constant influx of games incoming and outgoing as new are made/discovered etc. I still haven't played many vanilla parts of my modded games because I am forever distracted by the shiny objects!! lol
JimboUK
As long as it takes to copy a back up into my Steam folder.
SirTwist
Since I have discovered how to make a merged mod, I am taking longer than usual to mod my game. As of this moment, with the merged mods, I am running about 50 mods. Well, vanilla game, DLC's, and even mods. I am trying for good quality mods, as well as mods I know and really like, and some changes to what a few other people do, and have done, to their game. It will probably be some time, yet, before I am fully up to speed, and ready to play. I am using a variety other people's lists to make my own. I am thinking of a couple things, yet, to add to my list. However, I have found that since I am using merged mods, that not only can I reduce my load order, I can nip some potential conflicts in the bud, already.
