Soolie
Hmm since we havent seen any screenshots of Skyrim on pc, it is possible that the pc graphics will be the best game graphics ever.
billyro
The videos of gameplay were on xbox 360 weren't they? What if it ran too slowly on their computer?! No, I'm joking. :P I guess it still all boils down to your rig.
Iv000
Hmm since we havent seen any screenshots of Skyrim on pc, it is possible that the pc graphics will be the best game graphics ever. Witcher 2 already took that title. http://bulk2.destructoid.com/ul/195083-preview-the-witcher-2-assassins-of-kings/TheWitcher2_03_forest-noscale.jpg But Skyrim is not that far. http://cdn.gamerant.com/wp-content/uploads/Elder-Scrolls-5-Skyrim-Screenshot-Forest-Hunt.jpg And that's a Console screenshot. While the Witcher 2 is PC only, for now. Tcafitra
While I totally respect that Bethesda needs to keep lower spec machines in mind when tailoring graphics options, I sincerely hope they keep in mind those of us who have worked hard to put together a high spec PC and would like graphic options that put them to the test with stunning visuals and textures. And let's hope they make every option exclusive so people can tailor their graphics specifically for their own PC. This improves playability across the board, much better than a single Low---Medium---High slider bar for graphics adjustments.

That's one of my concerns.Crysis 2 had 3 graphic settings, gamer, advanced and hardcore. No sliders, no AA, no AF, no textures, only 3 words. Where games like witcher 2 have a ton of graphic settings.Everything from texture, to effects, to particles, to post processing. I just hope Skyrim will have a bit more then Oblivion.I'd like post processing effects, bump mapping and SSAO added into the settings, together with Oblivion's settings. Exactly my concern as well, Crysis 2 was in my mind when I wrote that ;) There are many people with many different GPUs that handle different parts of graphics processing better/worse than others. Being able to tweak individual settings allows PC users to maximize their framerate/visuals to suit their needs. Let's hope this is not forgotten. samadchaz
Like Farcry 2. It have different settings for DX9 and DX10.You can also put "Shadows" to low which increase fps dramatically.Hope Skyrim have these options too.
FireBug2
Bethesda’s using Havok’s animation system (Havok Behavior) in their game[*] Finaly! no more feaking seams. This also means there going to be havok clotches and havok clotches mean movin hair, and othe things. all togetherhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8cy1ty4nvmc Edited July 6, 2011 by FireBug2

ITOS
Bethesda’s using Havok’s animation system (Havok Behavior) in their game This also means there going to be havok clotches and havok clotches mean movin hair, and othe things.I think that is jumping to conclusions. Behavior and Cloth are separate products. I've heard nothing about Skyrim using more than Behavior, which basically only deals with animation blending.
