NecromancerOfTamriel
Hey everyone, how's it going? So...I'm new to the whole modding scene, I've been meaning to add mods to Skyrim for awhile but I can't seem to decide on a few mods to improve the perks and combat, or at least the main thing I want to change - magic. I want to have magic be balanced and fun, powerful, and good for someone who plans to make a true Necromancer character - one who becomes a Lich and plans to reanimate and summon whatever undead servants he can. However, I still want to be able to add tons of extra spells - like Unlock spells for Alteration and Absorb spells for either Destruction or, like the previous games listed it, Restoration. Some of the mods I plan to use already are:The Unofficial patches for each of the DLCs and the main gameTakes Notes - Journal of the DragonbornLevitate RevampedUndeath (Obvious choice for a Necromancer)Undeath Invisibly Scrye Fix PatchUndeath Immersive LichdomCivil War OverhaulAlternate Start - Live Another AnotherLeft Hand Rings (let's face it, two rings are better than one)Immersive College of WinterholdSkyUI (mandatory)Cutting Room FloorUndead ServantsImmersive Spells and LightMage Apparel Overhaul Those are just a few mods I plan to use, however, I don't know what to do about perk improvements, magic improvements, mods to increase the summon limit through perks, making spells more powerful (since Destruction in vanilla only gained power with Augmented Flames/Frost/Sparks perks and when dual-casted), etc. I heard about Skyrim Redone, but although it seems promising, it also changes wards to be a bit odd - that, and I heard nothing about maximum summons you can have out OR max number of enchantments on an item. Plus, I heard some mods that add spells don't work well with it. If anyone can recommend any mods to help me with my dilemma - or give their advice on SkyRe, or both, I'd be grateful. Thank you all. :)

NecromancerOfTamriel
Does anyone else have any recommendations to improve perks, magic, and combat? Or at least magic and perks?
gulogulo
If you want to play as necromancer then I can see only one mod that allows you to do so. Its my mod - Advanced Skyrim Overhaul. I do realise that the last sentance sounds like a crude brag but for me playing as necromancer means commanding undead. And to my knowledge no other mod allows you to command them, especially the reanimated ones.

Nazralte
I use Perkus Maximus (PerMa) (by the same creator that did Skyrim Redone). It is a fantastic overhaul of skyrim's perk system and some other things. In the Conjuration perk tree there is a perk that allows for 2 summons at once. There is also a branch dedicated to raising undead. You actually have to harvest the bones from dead bodies to raise them. They are permanent until destroyed. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=343781635 <-- Here is a nice list of all the perks and what they do. This mod does work fine with Apocalypse, I do use that mod as well for spells. The others I don't know, but they should as long as they don't alter the perks any. A couple other mods I absolutely love are AI mods. Dragon Combat Overhaul being one and a couple of mods dedicated to enemy AI. There are a few like Deadly Combat or Duel -Combat Realism. They just make those fights more fun and challenging.
