KunoMochi
The mods that have their own installer (options pop up for you to select which options you want) do not activate anymore. NMM just installs, and I get no choice to choose anything. My skyrim is messed up as a result...Try right-clicking on the mod, choose Uninstall Mod, then install it back. The install menu should pop back up again. By the way, this isn't exactly the right place to ask for help. ;)
SnW25
Hi,i'm one of those guys who had to REINSTALL EVERYTHING FORM SCRATCH because of the update, yes i was angry as everyone else, i didn't touch it for a few days, then my abstinence for skyrim won the battle and i CAREFULLY updated my NMM and reinstalled the game, fro two days i dedicated 8 hours of my day to again, CAREFULLY install all my mods. So i had almost half of the list installed, everything was ok, i tried the game several times, everything was running GREAT!, then i closed the NMM, i opened again and, vo ah la, all the esp files were gone, though the mods are still in my game data floder, and NMM mod folders, for some strange reason every single .esp is gone, (Yes i tried the InstallLog.xml.bak)so if someone could be so gentle to help me how to fix this s#*!! ,i'll be forever grateful for your help, because i don't really have the time and energy to deal again wih THIS f*#@ING s#*!!. thank you for taking the time reading this, and i really wish you to have a better day than mine. ishlia
Glad I read the news before updating. Profiles are great, but I guess I'll wait till it's stable to deal with my hundreds of mods. The old version works fine, so I'll stick with it for now. :)

tycoon600
My sad tale of woe. Not really.I just started playing Skyrim a few weeks ago. Yep for the first time. I knew about Nexus and NMM from playing Fallout.I was one that blundered into the upgrade and DID read the warnings about how this will make some major changes and have an impact on how NMM works. It didn't go quite as planned. NMM attempted to reinstall the mods. Most were gone. Things didn't look good. I was pretty happy about that. I had discovered so many mods after I had started the game and I was really looking for an opportunity to start a new play-through with all the cool mods I had come across. So I wasn't upset about having to start over. I'm glad I did actually. Pretty much a new game again. So rather than spewing death threats, I want to take the opportunity to thank all of the people that have put so much time into these mods over the years. And to the folks running the Nexus and keeping NMM updated. I am amazed and humbled every day at the time and effort put in here. Nobody has to use your site for mods but we all choose to. I'll never b*tch about a free service that does everything that Nexus and the modding community does. Keep doing what your doing. In layman's terms, that means in big red letters "DON'T USE THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING". Of course, everyone ignores that. Their update works wonderfully for some people, and for those who it didn't work well for, the concept of a beta (with lots of warnings about this specific update, as well). means that the issue is solely with the end user. It wouldn't work well for me personally because of my current setup, so I simply didn't update. I did this because I read about the update and did my own research before concluding that it would not be a wise move for me.Long story short, don't blame the devs for something that they told you might not work and you agreed to. mack77
I did read the advice and it worked for me great, but i just can't see why some people send hate mail to you ? I have been with you for many years and never had a problem! I do however feel sorry for the people it did not work for , but i just know the the people at nmm would be all out to fix it and i thank every person that works there for the great job over these years that they have done.. Its sad that some people send hate mail but I HOPE those that work at NMM can forgive the few I am grateful
Jackassgunner
That's it ! I have had enough problems with this new goddamn NMM update.IT RANDOMLY UNINSTALLS ALL MY MODS , DELETES SOME AND CAUSES A LOT OF PROBLEMS. this is the third goddamn time that i had to re install everything that takes about 20 hours. get your s#*! togetherm
wolfyrik
This isn't working for me at all. Brings up two progress windows, then just hangs completely. It's like it's doing enough to not going into "not responding" but that's all. If I close the thing from task manager it shuts down straight away with no effort. Is there any way for me to bypass the uninstallation and do it manually one mod at a time?
