Dark0ne
Ok, so my S.T.A.L.K.E.R. thread fell on deaf ears. Please for the love of god tell me that atleast some of you are going to play C&C3!
Tiberiu911
I might play it. I remember playing good ol' Tiberian Sun, it was one of my favorite games back in the day.
Switch
When I'm in the market for a new RTS, I would think I'll pick this one. Seems more traditional RTS than the likes of SupCom (all I'd get from that is learning how to get pwned in a thousand different ways...).
TheTerminator2004
I would play it, except I don't have enough pocket money right now, and by the time I do, Crysis will be out.
Jonlissla
I tried the game at a friend, and I must say, I am impressed. The campaign is so far good (tried the first four mission on GDI, never tried NOD), and with the addition of a new faction (the Scrin), and new top notch graphics as well as alot more better gameplay than Tiberian Sun, this game shines more than a supernova! Oh, and an old friend has returned as well. A big, bad and REALLY powerful friend... the Mammoth Tank!
Parkillous
I got it. Good, solid CNC style gaming with pretty graphics. Fast paced, not much strategic depth... sort of like the rts for fps players lol. 9/
Rusla
I played it too, although didn't like it. Dunno probably this game is to much combat oriented, i like strategies like Hearts of iron , where you got to think and have a plan of actions to do
PaulEmil
Ya, C&C3 is a clasic RTS. No-one does a tank rush like the GDI, because there is nothing better or deadlier than 10 Mammoth tanks bearing down on a Nod base. This game is the essence of FUN, however the later levels become tough, coz the Enemy has really strong air units. Still fun though, seeing all those pretty 'splodes. Ginji
I rented it, but, dullness. I played a skirmish and went away feeling 'that was brilliant', but then i loaded up Company of Heroes and it was sooo much better. Take the fights for example:C&C3: Little men run forward, oh no! machine-guns! little men die (and vanish into the ground). Tanks come forward, oh no! Rocket- launchers! tanks die. Little men and tanks run forward, rockets and machine-guns die. I win that fight. CoH: A squad runs forward, oh no! Machine-gun nest! Men dive into cover on their own accord, hiding behind barrels, tank traps, buildings. 1 man dies (Is knocked over, rolls into ditch, and stays there). Tank comes forward, while the squad runs around the building to flank machine-gun nest, oh no! AT guns! Men throw grenade at AT gun, Little men on the AT gun are blown APART. Tank blows up Machine gun nest. I win. ;D Compared to CoH, C&C3 sucks. No deformable land or planned building holes (I once turned a quiet French village into a crater covered, desolate wasteland.) Not as exciting in any way, shape or form.
