First things first, I must say that I am so f*#@ing excited for this new entry in the Fallout franchise. I've been wetting my sheets about it for months now. I am a game design major in my junior year ATM and will be attempting to test my hands at some modding for Fallout 4. I think the first things that should be worked on are just some of the basic things added to Skyrim that made the game that much more enjoyable. For me "Enhanced Blood" is a must. Skyrim wasn't a very brutal game until that mod was added. Fallout is already such a gruesome experience, a blood mod would seriously make everything more over the top and awesome :)

Well I have a few ideas that are based off of some possible issues with the game that I haven't had anyone confirm as of yet except the last of the two. Beware of small SPOILERS of game mechanics and such ahead.

One of the smaller mods I was hoping for was a convenient way to expand the quick looting system into 2 menus (your Pip-Boy and the container/body you're looting from) like the way FO3 and FNV looting works so as to get an item's value and/or weight and/or stats. With the current quick looting system, you can't judge whether or not an item is worth picking up because everything is obviously so new to us all and no stats are shown whatsoever. Also, I'm not sure what the transfer button does, maybe it does exactly what I'm requesting but I haven't had that confirmed either.

A much larger mod which I am so disappointed over the fact that it may even ever be needed is a map expansion into the large body of water on the Easter side of the map since that's all blocked off and empty content. This could really go into any direction such as sunken underwater structures to explore with items to loot in combination with floating structures.

Those are just my thoughts.
