Dhegonus
Pretty much all skyrim/oblivion console commands work, same engine and all.

Apart from this, I cannot open safes with "unlock" - terminals do work. Anything I do wrong?
mschiebel
player.inv is a lifesaver to find id's as "help" doesn't seem to work like it did in Skyrim. Try: help "<item desc>" 4 The number after the search string was optional in Skyrim; now required.
Balgroth187
use vault111ext for a coc out of qasmoke just make sure to exit the vault for the first time before going to qasmoke, or you will glitch the hell out of your character Edited November 11, 2015 by Balgroth187
Vyxenne
prid [refID] targets that object or refID-NPCplayer.modav carryweight 1000 adds 1000 to carryable weightmodav carryweight 1000 adds 1000 carryable weight to Dogmeat when he is targeted in the consoleplayer.additem [refID] [quantity] poofs [quantity] of [refID item] into your inventory. F=Bottlecaps and A=Bobby Pins.player.equipitem [refID] [quantity] works. Haven't tried NPC-targeted version of equipitem because I have nothing yet that Dogmeat can equphelp [searchstring] 4 returns a listing for all items matching [searchstring] (using 0 instead of 4 returns ALL listings including stuff such as animations that are useless to see because we can't interact with them via the console anyway) while 4 returns only stuff with FormIDs, which is pretty much everything we can interact with in the consoleSo far, every Skyrim command I've tried has worked. But I've only got 6 hours in the game so far so I haven't tried many commands yet. Edited November 13, 2015 by Vyxenne
Vyxenne
<snip> player.additem # (000000f is bottlecaps) (000000a should be bobbypins) <snip>Just as in Skyrim, leading zeroes are NOT required, and in fact make console commands more error-prone when you use them due to the difficulty in counting consecutive zeroes accurately. SO: player.additem f 9999 adds 9999 bottlecaps, and player.additem a 999 adds 999 bobby pins.
Vyxenne
Hi, I have a problem with the tilde key, in this game, and can't use the console. Its strange, as it works in every other bethesda game "Why not this one only" Tilde key still works great for me, same as in Skyrim, Oblivion, FO3 and NV. I read once (while searching for info on another console issue) that there is, or could be added, an entry in one of the ini files that needed to be set to "1" to enable the console... something like "bAllowConsole=1" but I just checked my Skyrim, Fallout 3 and Fallout new Vegas ini files and can't find anything at all with "console" in it, nor does a quick Google search lead me to whatever it was that I read several years ago about it. I have also read of problems where the screen resolution (or widescreen format) hides the console off the left edge of the screen. Does your game pause itself when you press the tilde key? If so, the console is working, but displayed beyond the left edge of your screen. If your game pauses when you press tilde, try typing in a really long series of letters, like this:ggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg If you suddenly see those letters appearing on the bottom left of your screen, the console is opening up just fine but you have a display format or resolution issue preventing you from seeing it.I'm running FO4 at 1920x1080, widescreen 16:9, and have no probs at all with the console. Hadanelith
Question: has anyone found a way to either A) increase your stats in such a way that it gives perk access on level up, or B) give perks without leveling, so I can just level the (foo) training perks? using modav and forceav both give the changes as bonuses, like clothing, rather than changing your raw stat value, so that when you level, you do not gain any perk access. I just wanna boost my SPECIAL by a few points, and then play the game normally. Beth, why you gotta make this so hard? EDIT: and I am a doofus. player.setav does the job just fine. Problem solved!
