How long did you last before your first death?

I died about 6 hours in. I got finished dealing with a pack of feral ghouls and warped back to a village nearby to finish a mission and saw a traders caravan, so I went looking for the trader to see if I could actually sell anything.

The front of the caravan had a collection of Human Scavengers attacking it and I hadn't remembered to heal. They dropped me in 2 shots.

Even after I reloaded and did it correct I still never found the head of the caravan and the trader to sell things.

At this point 7 hours in and still haven't found anyone to sell too.

I found him up on a hill top far in the central north area near the safe house we have to secure and set up.. Bought a load of stuff from him including steel and cloth as well.. Your other option is to join the BOS and sell to their supply people..

Oh yeah. I havent died yet, but I play in god mode (i'm in it for the story and puzzles ) A few deathclaws made me wonder if gods could die however.. They hit so hard that even in god mode, you cant do squat for a while ( and they just keep hitting you ).. Behemoths are a pain and so is the legendary sentinel robot near Sanctuary.. The last took over three minutes of continuous point blank fire from a minigun before it died.. I've since switched to fatman's. they work a little bit better..

Lv 28, a big cluster of ships, settled by Raiders. Got nuked with a Fatman 3 times at once. Was thinking "dafuq?!". Turned TGM on, TCL and made my way to the launcher.

Guess what ... those 3 nukes came from a single Raider ... glitchy firing. Happened just 2 times on his first attempt to fire.

Other than that: never. Powerarmor feels like a Powerarmor now.

Honestly? Stepped on a mine and hit crouch when I meant to hit sprint, about two hours in. That was my wake-up call to how much more dangerous explosives are in Fo4 vs. Fo3 and NV.

Since then I've been averaging a death every third or fourth combat on account of the ridiculous grenade spam from enemies with apparently bottomless pockets full'o boom... but my favorite death was the first time I ran into the supermutant suicider. There I was, happily following the red bricks, trading shots with a pile of muties... beep beep beep beep BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP*KERSPLODE* Achievement unlocked: Touchdown! First time a death made me laugh instead of rage in this game.
