Adds a great level of realism to the survival mode imo, if one could disable the in game pipboy then this provides a nice challenge to the player. But yeah whats the point of playing survival anyway when nothing else even resembles the word. Well mostly anyway.

Btw i got rid of a lot of z-fighting and that crap water LOD is a bit further with fsplitdistancemulti at 2.5

Not sure where to put this bug, as it has to do with modding the game, but it is a vanilla FO4 bug, and not a bug introduced by mods. In fact, that is the issue, I cannot add any mods at all as the Launcher has no file selection screen for them. Any way to fix that? I already tried the bEnableFileSelection=1 ini tweak, and that did not work at all because I assume the option is not there at all, not just grayed out and not clickable like in Skyrim when it launched.

As far as I can tell that's normal right now.

I don't have it either.

You have to add esp mods manually to your plugins.txt in Users\[YourUser]\AppData\Local\Fallout4.

Although it seems like at the moment Fallout 4 is adding all esps inside the data folder to that file on its own.

But I'm not rure if that is always the case.

Actually you are half correct, it is a file that is in the folder you mentioned, and it was added automatically, but it is not the plugins.txt as you said. It may have been that for previous Bethesda games, but it is not that way anymore it would seem. Now files like that are handled by a txt file called DLCList.txt. Just wanted to clarify that before people start modifying their plugin.txt file based on what you said and then screw up their game as that file tells you to not modify it.

Mh yeah that's right.

The single mod I'm using is in there.

But Fallout 4 also added it to plugins.txt automatically.

So it's listed in both files for me.

I've got this bug, I've seen it around on the net over the past few days and no one has given any solid advice. Maybe someone here could help. Whenever I'm in a settlement, it will show all the resources, settler count, happiness, etc... But when I leave, not always and sometimes randomly, it will change my counts to zero, or some other random number. Thus my settlement happiness will plummet and settlers leave. Any idea as to why this is happening?

Having a similar problem myself. For me, Sanctuary's water seems to keep zeroing out and constantly has bed problems. Have already tried:

Adding more pumps, taking all the pumps out and putting in new ones, taking out all the pumps and building a single industrial pump, building several small pumps all near each other, near the center of the area (thinking it's a pathing or detection issue). Nada.

Tried the same with the beds, tried shuffling people around, removing and replacing all beds starting from a central area and working outward. Nada.

I'm thinking that this is something that will eventually need to be fixed with an official patch.

<Spoiler>

*spoiler*

Stop reading if spoiler black out didn't work and you don't want to ruin a hidden side quest.

There is a pathing problem with "Buddy" and it can't make it to your settlement.

If you send and fast travel, it never arrives.

If you send and escort, it get's stuck in verious places and finally ends it's trip on a bridge that NPCs can not pass.

I have tried to upload a photo of the bridge for location but this forum wont accept the url from steams screen shots.

So this is really two bugs. Buddy's pathing is janky and it just dissapears after a while of not being able to path correctly and the bridge being broken. (buddy had pathing problems and would dissapear before this as well.)

You can spawn buddy in your location but it loses all dialog options that you get if you loaded it up when you first met it.

Since I can't post a photo of the bridge I guess that's for another time but not even your "follower" can cross it, they will swim in the water before they try. If you point dog at the center and tell it to go it just howls at you and looks at you like you are a idiot heh.

So, two bugs.

Buddy can't make it where you send it and pathing issues.

Broken bridge (location to be updated when I can link a photo)

Are you talking about that robot that actually wants to get to the hotel?

Do you know the name of the quest?

Ive posted about this a couple times, but has anyone realized there is a new, master INI in the data folder (presume came with the update)?

A few people like myself cant get texture mods to work unless this file is edited, it overrides the INIs in the my games folder. It also contains more settings than both of those combined.

In the Data folder? Are you sure?

I don't have an ini file there.
