McC1oud
There is a lot of things not realistic, i just go with flow and have fun. for example nuka cola aparently made so much cola before the war that even 200+ years later there is still so much to go around and it's still good??? really? soda would last 200+ years and there would still be an abundant amount around to drink 200+ years later? lol. there is plenty not realistic but it's fun in a corny way. I think there has been story elements that explain this as Nuka-Cola is brewed with preservative nuclear isotopes.
charwo
After playing Dead Money, I took the vending machines to be low level replicators. Still, no Sunset Sarsaparilla again? Nothing for New Vegas. And yes Obsidian made that game, but they made it on Bethesda's engine and they should have taken story and characterization notes. That said this thing need higher companion limits, XP from companion kills, ASAP. Both of which were in New Vegas (at least one human and one non-human companion at a time)

Fun in a corny way should not cost $60 and rate a year and a half of hype. Fun in a corny way is just another way to say "mediocre".

The only Reference of any sort I've seen to the Mojave area is from one of the NPC's (Jack Cabot), and it's just an offhand comment.

The main story has a small touch or two....the guy who shoots your spouse comes from the west. Well it doesn't say Mojave it's from the NCR area. Merovign
*I* learned nothing, I bought a Bethesda game before the modders fixed it. That was a stupid waste of money.
Talwyn224
*I* learned nothing, I bought a Bethesda game before the modders fixed it. That was a stupid waste of money. LOL ahem That being said it always seems that Bethesda release their FO games in Beta, ie; incomplete, still riddled with bugs and generally has a feel that it's not really finished/polished.This is why they let people mod the game because the evidence is there to show that they know the modding community will fix the glaring errors and massively improve on the unfinished product. That being said I am still enjoying the game but I'm well aware of its short comings and am back here to get the mods to fix the game so it becomes complete.
