JoePozlander Posted November 11, 2015 Posted November 11, 2015 Every time I attempt to use the GECK to edit a weapon it crashes, even when only the main NV master file is selected. A bit of a pain in the bum when I want to use CaliberX ammo. http://i.imgur.com/CpaybCC.png I don't know much about modding so throw in any ideas at all on how to fix for me would you? Haha.
EverybodysSenpai Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Having the exact same issue. I even attempted a clean reinstall of the GECK, with no success. I would appreciate any help regarding this, and I'm certain Joe would as well.
mrchaos500 Posted November 16, 2015 Posted November 16, 2015 a month ive been trying to find an answer ive tried vgu ,bethesdasoft forums and here no one seems to have a fix running admin doesnt work ,running with power up and nvse doesn't workcreating new inis didnt work and neither did reinstalling the geck

Purr4me Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 no, your choice is to go online to steam and follow instructions to move the folder Or I would have to lay it out for you...that's not my place even though I can. steam ? there are things we can do or say that have repercussions..so there are rules for steam users and educates I follow.try steam first. any data currently listed and installed in default locations will carry over attributes the systems has assigned, it requires steam networks to fix and place the data correctly. the GECK kit's all go into the root folders of the games even though default installs them in other places, steam puts them into the games folder. I am trying to make sure you avoid permissions issues over millions of files...steam handles all of that for you.
