The Chinese Assault Rifle was so prevalent in Fallout 3...why didn't it make a return? I guess I'll list all the ones I want to see (some of these may have been covered already)

The weapons I'd like to see in FO4 that were in FO3

  • Chinese Assault Rifle (Chinese Type 81 variation)
  • Battle Rifle (HK G3 Munster)
  • 10mm SMG (yes I know you can turn the pistol into an SMG, but I feel like the game is missing something big with no 10mm SMG)
  • Chinese Pistol (Mauser)
  • .32 Pistol (Revolver)

the weapons Id like to see in FO4 that were in FO:NV

  • 5.56mm Pistol
  • 12.7mm (.50 cal) Pistol
  • Assault Carbine (M4) [side note: full modding would produce something that looks like the Marksman Carbine)
  • Automatic Rifle (BAR)
  • Battle Rifle (M1 Garand-type)
  • Light Machine Gun (M60 variant)
  • Service Rifle (AR-15, I'd also like to see it be moddable into an AR-10 (7.62mm)
  • Grenade Launcher (M79 Grenade Launcher)
  • .45 Pistol (1911)
  • 9mm Pistol (Browning Hi-Power variant)

Weapons I'd like to see that weren't in FO3 or FO:NV

  • M14
  • FN FAL (or British L1A1 / Canadian C1A1 (this would probably make more sense))
  • AK-47
  • M1 Carbine
  • RPK (could be you mod the AK-47 into the RPK (or RPD if you want earlier version)) [side note: The Chinese version of the RPD was known as the Type 56]
  • Beretta M9
  • Remington 870 (or similar Military Shotgun, though a civilian hunting shotgun would be nice too)

Alright I think that's all I can think of.

I think people have made most, half if not all those weapon mods.

I want... A fusion rifle. An Erentil FR4, or a Gallant Charge, or a Wizened Rebuke, or a Main Ingredient, anything like that really. Charge up, fires 7 energy bolts, does a lot more damage than a shotgun at far longer range. They're unique, they're fun, and they're powerful. And in the game they're from they just got nerfed into the floor so hard they're about as effective as a super soaker with no water. Modding them into another game is the closest anybody's going to get to bringing them back to life.
