Sirchase
Has anyone else felt as if the settlement building just feels incomplete and poorly made as in building walls and bordering off your settlements. Dont get me wrong its not boring by any means but it just feels weird.. and collision is really bad.
yellotang
Watching my wife build her settlement with the Xboxone and knowing what can be done through modding, there is no comparison. I'm sadden to watch her try to find a way to place a fence that just hangs in the air and doesn't contour to the ground.
SMB92
Thats really annoying me, setting up fences in they cant seem to go ob a slant. And its a mess building a second story on your main building too. Im reasonably happy with how i set up Sanctuary, but those junk fences dont click together, so ill pretend they are holes for shooting out of ;)
Timmiii
I ain't into the settlement thing. Just like homesteading in Skyrim. That's not why I play combat games.
beholder88
I just started yesterday and have a little difficulty getting things to fit. It feels like it's something you just have to get used to, but I'm hoping the modding community will make some improvements.
Merovign
I think they expected modders to fix it. I wish I could at least turn the snap-to-invisible-grid off on walls.
neonie
Yes. As evidence by the fact you literally can't pick a new thing in the furniture menu if you're in a house made out of the pieces they designed to building, since doing so selects whatever piece you're looking at. You have to actually LOOK AWAY from every single thing you've placed to select a new piece in the menu, turning building any reasonable sized structures into an archaic game of peekaboo. GoodfellowGoodspring
I was hoping to build around or even repair exisiting structures (i wanted to fortify Concord,) but looks like the main idea is building new ugly wooden shacks. Good to have in the game but atm its console level and not god tier pc modding tier.
McC1oud
Best settlement location is Hangmans alley. I was thinking of posting my build soon. Also I have plans to work on the settlement system for modding. I am envisioning settlement "size" expansion. Where the range of the settlement borders increase when you hit population milestones. Edited November 14, 2015 by McC1oud
